I love it when people show their true colors. This is getting pretty offensive.

Agreed.

I don't think that its offensive to argue in favor of a little political morality these days.

I do think it's offensive to compare people having children to pooping in their yard.

eeeehhh?

Oh... you mean the analogy I made up above.

Well, yes. We kinda do politically and economically. Do I like that? Heck no. Others just don't care and completely misrepresent the notion that we do in order to continue ignoring the sequence of events that leads to a lot of the illegal immigration in the first place.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

Oh was that an analogy? I thought you really meant that having the kids was the same as pooping in the yard. Too bad I didn't take English 101.

Sorry for the mixup then

maviwaro...I wasn't referring to you! I had in mind the comment about multiplying like vermin.

No worries... I think I understand where some people's humanity has been left short of their keyboards. It must be cool to write that stuff sometimes. But consistently? Geeez...

They come here because they've all read about your ####### on VJ.

Sigh. I think just about everyone on this forum knows that having kids here does not prevent anyone from being deported. And I know we were just talking about Elmer Fudd, but really, comparing people to jack rabbits?

Having lots of kids for many Latinos is a cultural value; they love kids and love having big families.

Great...I'm happy for them. I just get tired of some folks here on VJ that somehow justify mass illegal immigration from Latin America by repeatedly stating that these folks have a right to some sort of free pass "to feed their families" and that enforcing immigration laws is mean.

If you can't feed 'em...don't breed 'em. It's as simple as that.

Just because you piss in your own bowl of Cheerios doesn't give you the right to eat from your neighbor's bowl.

As I said earlier...peoples that double their population through internal births every 25 years reap what they sow.

I empathize with people that deserve empathy, but I don't empathize with folks that reap what they themselves have sown. If they don't care enough for themselves...why should I?

We can't save the world, but we can save ourselves. Sturdy fences make for good neighbors. Especially neighbors that take things they do not have a right to take.

"Credibility in immigration policy can be summed up in one sentence: Those who should get in, get in; those who should be kept out, are kept out; and those who should not be here will be required to leave."

"...for the system to be credible, people actually have to be deported at the end of the process."

US Congresswoman Barbara Jordan (D-TX)

Testimony to the House Immigration Subcommittee, February 24, 1995
