combined with my income i make now and will continue to make after, we will be less stressed and more comfortable, we never did need monye for happiness. without the service, he wont do well financially, the only thing he knows is mountain climbing as he was a proffesional in Romania. We live in florida, ####### is he going to climb? (hush charles)

I grew up in a Coastie family.....my old man was a "Mustanger", went from a lowly Seaman > CPO > Warrant Officer > and retired as a Lt Commander.

It's not an inuslt, Interservice "ribbing" is the norm.

I am a retired Marine, did 4.5 years as a Recruiter and I was just voicing what I know from experience, going into the military for money usually results in the enlistee not being happy. BTW, there are quite a few Coasties over in Kuwait and UAE, are you aware of that?
