When i go to the states and file for my fiance can I come back to her country to be with her? Or do i have to live and work in the states until her visa comes through? 6-9 months apart would not make us happy. Also helpful hints will carve yourself a spot in heaven so please post what you can. Thanks alot and everyone GL with their K-1s

You will need to meet income requirements for the affidavit of support, or have a co-sponsor. Keep that in mind when juggling how much time you'll spend over there versus how much time you'll spend working at home.

Yes, that's the rub but I wouldn't count on a visa that quickly from Iran. You might get lucky though. Check the timelines or ask in the appropriate regional forum. "Middle East, North Africa". Just scroll down the forums list.
