  3. Donald Trump found guilty on all counts in N.Y. hush money trial https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/live/2024/may/30/trump-hush-money-trial-verdict Donald Trump has been found guilty of using a criminal hush-money scheme to influence the outcome of the 2016 election. The verdict came after a jury deliberated for less than 12 hours in the unprecedented first criminal trial against a US president. Trump was convicted by a jury of 12 New Yorkers of felony falsification of business records, which makes it a crime for a person to make or cause false entries in records with the intent to commit a second crime. In Trump’s case, the Manhattan district attorney’s office alleged Trump falsely recorded the reimbursements he made to his former lawyer Michael Cohen, who paid the adult film star Stormy Daniels $130,000 for her silence about her affair with Trump, as “legal expenses”. The prosecution alleged the falsifications were made to conceal Trump’s violation of New York state election law, which makes it a crime to promote the election of any person to office through unlawful means. Prosecutors argued in part that those unlawful means were the $130,000 payment to Daniels, which was in effect an illegal campaign contribution, because it was done solely for the benefit of his 2016 campaign and exceeded the $2,700 individual contribution cap. It marks a perilous political moment for Trump, the presumptive nominee for the Republican nomination, whose poll numbers have remained unchanged throughout the trial but could tank at any moment.
  4. For the form the I-751 form itself you can use your relative/trusted friend’s US address for both physical and mailing address. On the last page of the I-751 you can include info as Temporary Overseas Work Assignment from x to y dates/employment and lodging address. This way it will not be used for correspondence.
  5. You are a self sufficient, high income earner so no I-864 issues at play . ..unless of course you decide to stop working and demand your low income USC spouse and joint sponsor dole out poverty guideline $ for you post divorce
  6. Your paper trail of joint life is extensive and will carry the I-751 from immediate extension letter to grant. To be blunt , not much of a good life ( past or present ) for your USC spouse if your part was deception and extramarital affair. ‘Even now, you are thinking and planning out divorce at your convenience ..since I can only assume she was the moving party wanting divorce Dec 2023. You will keep your green card and US life…no matter her complaining to USCIS about infidelity. …so don’t string her along, , be honest .
  7. Attorneys for Donald Trump have sent a cease and desist letter to the filmmakers behind “The Apprentice” in an effort to block its U.S. sale and release. It warns the team behind the film not to pursue a distribution deal, according to two people who have read the letter. “The Apprentice,” which looks at Trump’s early years as a real estate developer and his relationship with Roy Cohn, premiered at the Cannes Film Festival this week. “The film is a fair and balanced portrait of the former president,” the producers of the film said in a statement regarding the cease-and-desist letter. “We want everyone to see it and then decide.” The movie, which was independently produced, stars Sebastian Stan as Trump and Jeremy Strong as Cohn. It presents a damning portrait of the former president as an ethically compromised, philanderer who stiffs contractors and cuts deals with the mob to get his buildings completed. It includes other controversial details, including a scene where Trump rapes his first wife, Ivana, and depicts him abusing amphetamines to lose weight, as well as undergoing liposuction and plastic surgery. https://variety.com/2024/film/news/apprentice-donald-trump-team-cease-and-desist-letter-sebastian-stan-jeremy-strong-1236015819/
  8. Two Dallas doctors who faked giving injections to patients pleaded guilty to healthcare fraud charges. Twin brothers Desi Barroga and Deno Barroga, who operated a pain management clinic in Dallas together, each pleaded guilty Tuesday to one count of conspiracy to commit healthcare fraud. The brothers required patients to visit their office monthly. The patients would receive prescription drugs, like hydrocodone, oxycodone, and morphine, and the doctors would bill patients' insurance companies for services they did not provide. The Barrogas reported to insurance that they gave patients as many as 80 corticosteroid injections per patient per visit. Court documents say, in many cases, the doctor would place a needle on the patient's body without actually piercing the skin. The brothers also created fake medical records. Plea papers say the Barrogas admitted they billed insurers at least $45 million. They were paid at least $9 million. The men each face up to 10 years in prison. https://www.fox4news.com/news/dallas-doctors-fake-injections-desi-barroga-deno-barroga
