Anyway, I submitted the police certificate to them on March 18th, then was told over the phone that my case was complete at the NVC a month later- April 19th. Yet again another issue: I brought the wrong birth certificate, i actually have two. Why? i don't know, thats how my mother gave them to me. So i had to send additional document even if i was approved i was placed in administrative review. Sent Birth certificate: June 7 Offsite facility received it: June 8 Consulate received it: June 13 Its been 5 weeks and 1 day, still in AP. Seriously hoping for good news this week. I requested for my passport on June 29th, they mailed it and i mailed it back July 8th, they got it July 13th. AND AFTER 8 WEEKS AND 1 DAY my visa was issued today- August 9th, 2016. Now...waiting for my passport. Received Passport 11am on 11th of August, 2016. August 25th- SSN arrived in the mail October 16th- Green card arrived in the mail. WHAT A JOURNEY!
