Dear All,

Trust all are well ,  I am Pakistan National . I had applied a US Visit Visa from south africa in 2016 October when i was their on the TRP on my husband's visa. Unfortunately they rejected with the reason that I failed showing strong  social economics ties. Now I am in United Arab emirates resident visa on my husband's visa. I wanted to meet and visit my sister and her children. Please suggest me from where should I apply to get Visa , either it is from Pakistan or UAE?  as i am a house wife what documents can show my strong ties to the country , so they believe them as strong intent of departing US on given time.

Regards, USHEBZ

Apply where you are a resident. In this case, from the UAE.

You can only show what you have. You can't make up strong ties if you don't have it. You can still apply and see if you get it.

People apply every day and many just don't have enough to get a visitor visa.

Has your sister sponsored you to immigrate?

Maybe something to consider longer term.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

No she has not filed any petition for my immigration nor sponsored as yet, my question is still not answered satisfactorily how would i show strong ties with the country . What documents will help me to do it . How would they guess my intentions

What answer are you looking for. I believe your question was answered.

The embassy wants to see things like home or property ownership. You say you don’t have that. They want to see proof of a good paying stable job. You say you don’t have that. They want to see other things like business ownership or partnership. You don’t have that. They want to see that you are well traveled to other countries with no problems. You tried while you had traveled to another country and it wasn’t sufficient. They also would like to see that you have adequate funds to pay for your trip and stay in the US. Do you have that?

There is not much more evidence you can provide. You have a family and a new baby to provide as strong ties. But the question is will that be sufficient.

This is what I meant when I said you can’t submit what you don’t have.

@Boiler made a suggestion that since you don’t have a lot of strong ties now, that doesn’t mean you won’t have strong ties later. It may take some time after you get a good job or buy some property.

Regardless, nothing is stopping you from applying now with what you have.

How would this work with the 1 year baby? Would you and the baby travel and leave your husband behind? It does not seem you have strong ties to Pakistan which is what they will look for (I am assuming your husband is on an Employment Visa from the Directorate?)

So you need 2 applications, the usual recommendation here is to apply and find out.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

The CO will see your prior history if that is what you are asking, they will know what you said last time.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Yes my husband is on employment Visa in UAE . I am also residing with him in UAE. I will travel with my baby it is obvious cant leave little one with husband.

So please suggest in this scenario what should I do to get the visa .

My husband will not accompany me. As he is very busy with his work.

I can only suggest presenting as much as you can, and do NOT lie or present any fraudulent documents.

You can't provide something that you don't have to convince them that you will return to your country.

Your changes of getting a visa are very small and slim. You have no job, no income, no property, basically nothing in UAE. Now, how do they know if you're going to return back home? That's it.
