Just putting this info on this Thread. Called the Rep today, and said they begun March scheduling. Someone else please call and confirm with another rep, if possible, thanks!

I called last night at 11 and had a longer discussion with the rep. Here's a few things she told me:

- they haven't started scheduling for March yet.

- Feb interview was canceled due to the travel ban for the countries affected.

- advised to check back in a week or two.

I think we should solve the interview process mystery for the future applicants.

we should ask NVC more detailed questions about the scheduling process.

Do they work one embassy at a time and fill all of that embassy's available appointment slots. Or, do they select case based on when it was completed (regardless of the embassy) ?

I have asked similar questions to NVC and they told me that they schedule interview daily, and that it's on a first come first serve basis.

I called NVC and the man told me that out paperwork was Red Flagged on the Jan. 27th to a Supervisor.pls anybody have any idea about the Red Flagged?Again he said it could take up to 6weeks. He said just to be patient with the process.

When was your scan date? From what you're saying, it sounds like they just mean "flagged" as in "your case has been longer than six weeks so we will let a supervisor know." This doesn't make any difference and is nothing to be worried about. It's just that the NVC is very far behind! Most cases take nine to eleven weeks to complete from their original scan date.

Okay, then yes, the answer is exactly what I told you. After a case has been at NVC for six weeks, it gets "flagged" and put on "supervisor review." This is normal and nothing to worry about. You should hopefully have your case completed around February 10th. Good luck!
