Gotcha! yes, I noticed that too on timelines. So the service centers aren't preset? When I put my zip in on the USCIS site, it told me that my service center is Vermont.

Oh no, don't think so. My husband is filing from Cincinnati, OH and we got sent to the potomac service centre. Im not sure what their logic is for picking which service centre you're sent to... Probably a wait time / work load type thing. When you get your Noa1 you will get a receipt number within the text/letter. The first three letters before the numbers indicate which service centre you have been assigned to.

Oh ok. That's what I initially thought! Well in that case, I'm curious to see where we are all sent as well. Thanks!

The e-version of noa1 seems to be the quickest part of the whole process. Judging by some timelines people get theirs within a day or two sometimes. I wish the whole thing could go that quickly. Let us know when you get yours through! It would be good to know where the January filers are getting sent to ^_^

Hello all!

We submitted our I-130 12/27/16

We got out NOA1 via text 1/11/17 with a priority date of 1/3/17

Our application got sent of to the Nebraska Service Center, which annoys me because it appears as they are one of the slower ones lol.

We don't expect to get our NOA2 till about the middle of July.

Hoping it gets approved sooner! Does anyone else have quicker processing times by estimation?

Oh so the NOA1 text/email date is not necessarily the priority date? I had assumed so because the email didn't state any priority date. We have not received a text so far.

No the text/email date isn't the priority date. The priority date will be shown on the I-797 you will get in the mail

Nice! I'm in Quebec! You?

I'm from Alberta. Had been living in the states for the past 5 years prior to going through this process lol.

Have to fly out your way when it comes time for the interview!

Has anyone notice that estimated processing times for the IR1/CR1 on a day by day basis can go back and forth? I check this site religiously because USCIS hasn't updated their processing times since November 30. One day it can show processing dates for the NVC for July 25, and then the next day they are on July 22. How can this be lol?!

Middle of July? Damnnn. According to this site we should be getting our noa2 at the end of may which makes it about a 4 month wait. We got our Noa1 ecopy on 01/20/17 but we've been sent to Potomac so it must be processing a fair bit quicker than Nebraska..  I feel for ya
