NOA Expected timelines for i-485/EAD/AP?

Hey all,

Just curious what the expected timelines for the NOA for the I-485/EAD/AP are? I've looked at several other people's timelines and it seems AOS takes around 15 days and EAD/AP around a handful, but we haven't received anything back yet and it's been over a week now. I've filled out the form for e-mail and SMS notifications, and received nothing thus far, and the check hasn't been cleared yet either.

Does everyone get the NOA by mail, e-mail, SMS, or is there a field on some website that we can search for the status? I guess we're a little nervous as at this point we decided to dump the lawyer and do the rest of the journey ourselves to save several thousand dollars.

Thanks!

NOA1 is taking about 2-3 weeks to receive.

As you stated in your post, it has only been one week for you so there is nothing to be concerned about at this point. If you complete the G-1145, you usually get the text/emails first, late at night. However, getting the text/email isn't always a guarantee. The NOA1 letters come in the mail a few days later.

You can download the "Case Tracker" app through the app store for iphones or go to USCIS.gov. But you need your case numbers first and those come with the NOA1 notifications.

You can join the December filers thread http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/618436-december-2016-aos-filers/
