[Day 111] : Sep 15, 2016 SSN on hand; SR notice for Address Change
[Day 115] : Sep 19, 2016 Called USCIS for my I-485 status still pending for approval
Expect an interview scheduled by Dec 2016: Jax FL Field office; SR for Address Change Notice
[Day 182] : Nov 25, 2016 SR for AOS (expect a response by Dec 17, 2016)
[Day 196] : Dec 9, 2016 Still no update for I-485; SR assigned, responded and completed
[Day 203] : Dec 16, 2016 Meeting with an immigration lawyer (hoping to bump my case processing)
A lawyer can't help you. And since you say interview are you then sure you aren't just in line for an interview?

I've been calling USCIS customer service about my case and they can't even give me a straight answer. They just always tell me to keep waiting. They don't even know where my case exactly is. Even the tier 2 officer didn't give me a definite answer. I never received any updates since June 1st. With that said, I'm not even sure if my case still needs interview or is being waived.

Make an infopass appointment

Yes, I've just been to my immigration lawyer and he suggested to make an infopass appointment. Unfortunately, I need to wait for the next available appointment since there isn't any available 14 days from now.

i was stuck on "fingerprint fee received" on may 9th and by surprise i got an interview letter in the mail last month... my interview came and gone (i got approved on the spot) but i was still stuck on fingerprint fee recieved... it wasnt until a few days before i received my green card in the mail my case changed from fingerprint fee received to approved... just casue your case doesnt update it doesnt mean to say your case isnt progressing... as previous poster said a lawyer wont make the process go any faster... hopfully your interview letter will just turn up in the mail just like how mine did
