I am hoping someone can help me here, my fiancé had the visa interview on 9/19, was given 221g for proof of petitioner domicile. A week later all the documents were sent, I checked the website and it since has gone from refused to ready and it has stayed at ready since 10/13. My fiancé received an email with a tracking number stating that the passport was being sent back.

My question is, if the website shows ready does this mean the passport is being returned without a visa? I have emailed the ankara embassy 3 times asking for an update and they only replied to the first email, they just told us they are waiting on the missing documents. Second email was sent a little over 2 weeks ago, and third email a week ago. They never replied to the last 2 emails...

Does someone know something we don't??? I am going crazy here trying to figure out what's going on... I am literally making myself feel sick. Please, someone help!

The letter should say the embassy has issued your fiance visa and now sent the passport. So therefore they sent back only his passport with no visa.

What questions was asked during your fiance interview?

Are you your fiance sponsor or do you have a cosponsor?

What address was on the Affidavit of support.

Do you live outside the united states? For how long?

No questions were asked, we've been in a relationship for 4 years and had plenty of proof. The CO just said everything is fine, you're approved but your fiancé needs to send proof of domicile. I had been living with my fiancé in Istanbul while the process took place.

The address they have is my home address in the USA, I didn't need a cosponsor so everything was fine, we thought.

I guess all we can do is patiently wait to see what they want/need now...
