My wife is an American citizen and we both live in Denmark.

We've decided, that we wan't to move to the US.

the i130 got approved in October 2015.

We've been waiting on some paperwork and we're finally ready to send the CR1/affidavit of support/supporting documents and so.

My wife is moving there in August and we've already booked the tickets for the both of us, so i can come with her to find an apartment and meet her family. We've booked tickets both ways for me of course, cause i have to go to the final interview at the consular office at some point)

I'm starting to read all these scary stories, with people being denied at the airport, when they want to visit, but have a processing case.

Some recommend a visa waiver program, and some the B2 visa.

To me it seems like the B2 is ''safe'', but i'm not sure if i am qualified for a B2 visa.

Anybody who has any experience with this?

If you are a Danish citizen with no criminal history then the visa waiver program is for you. You are very unlikely to be granted a B2 when there is a perfectly good visa waiver program for you to use.

No one has the right to enter the USA apart from US citizens. No visa is a 100% guarantee of entry. It will be at the discretion of the CBP officer at the airport when you arrive whether you will be admitted or not. You will need a return ticket (sounds like you have that) and you will need to convince the officer that you will return home. Do you have a job? A letter from your employer confirming your leave dates and the date you are required to be back at the office might help.

Timeline in brief:

NOA2: July 21, 2016

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019
