I 751 fees not cashed

Hi all ,

I sent my I-751 package to California center PO box with USPS express mail ( with signature) on 19 April 2016 and it was delivered on the next day 20 April 2016 at CA 92677 instead of the PO box. I guess CA 92677 was the physical address. My green card expired 4 days later on 24 April 2016 . My bank account shows no check has been cashed so far and I did not receive any acknowledgement from USCIS so far. Is this normal ? Thank you for your advice.

It took them almost 3 weeks to cash my check. It can take up to 30 days.

Only if you need the NOA to renew anything etc... Generally though the NOA1 receipt date will be the date that they received the document.

I understand. My receipt number was quite literally the day after they received it. They didn't cash the check for 3 weeks.

Hey, I have similar situation here. My package (USPS Overnight) was delivered to VSC post box on Apr 16, but still the check hasn't been cashed yet :-( Considering Apr 16 was Sat, it's still more than 10 business days have passed...Ugh

Nothing at VSC has been cashed since April 10th. Maybe even some before that. CSC is better, but still about 2 weeks behind receipt-of-package date.

Just received the NOA1 and check was cashed. Relived for now. :)

Good, take a deep breath.... Now, the waiting begins. Yes, both CSC, and VSC processing times have been severely impacted by backlogs. I would suggest that you refrain from doing this :clock: , it has been known to drive people crazy...

Good luck on your immigration journey.
