Advance Parole on DACA to Africa?

I'm a DACA recipient who received an Advance Parole valid until the end of March. I requested it to travel to Africa (Kenya) for a few weeks for a work related project. Has anyone had an experience traveling to Africa/Kenya and back on AP? My main concern is around security at the airport in Kenya being unfamiliar with AP, since I do not have any visa stamps in my passport at all. I do hold a valid EAD and AP but I'm wondering if that will be enough.

Anyone have any experience with this?

(btw, my lawyer seems to think it should be fine but none of his other clients have traveled to Africa on AP yet)

I ask about Africa because the airport I will be traveling to and leaving from is in the African subcontinent, where people may not be as familiar with DACA or AP (unlike Mexico or India, for instance). From my research, this is an uncommon destination for AP, so any stories or shared experiences are relevant to me.

You have no reason to even Show the Immigration folks in africe your AP.... It is only revelant when you COME back to the country. & of course they will verify that it is good before letting you on the plane bound to the USA.

Just to update everyone here, I was able to travel to Kenya and back safely and without incident this past February.

The immigration officials asked to see my AP document every step of the way on the way back, from the airport in Nairobi to the gate at Qatar airport for my layover and certainly at the US Customs and Border office at JFK.

The airport personnel in Nairobi and Qatar were aware of Advance Parole, but I would say that my intuition was 100% spot on in that smaller airports in rural parts of the world may be unfamiliar with the document, and you may experience some difficulty or have to provide additional documentation. It's important to note that while the people I met were familiar with AP, they assumed it was for adjustment of status after getting married or something of that sort (and not for DACA). I didn't make it a point to mention the differences and focused on getting past the line as quickly as possible.
