Your priority date seems like it would be close to mine, so I think you EAD shouldn't be too far from being approved. Sometimes the approvals don't go in order, they can be a bit crazy. If you haven't

Just got my NOA1 by text and email with 3 receipt numbers. Yay!

AOS Timeline:
August 29, 2015: AOS package mailed to the USCIS in Chicago.
August 31, 2015: AOS package delivered.
September 8, 2015: NOA1 received by text and email (4 receipt numbers).
September 12, 2015: NOA1 received by mail (3 receipt numbers).
September 14, 2015: NOA1 received by mail (1 receipt number).
September 18, 2015: Biometrics appointment letter received for October 1, 2015.
September 22, 2015: Biometrics done. Early walk-in at a different ASC.
September 30, 2015: Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview.
November 11, 2015: EAD card is being produced (Form I-765) and Form I-131 is approved.
November 12, 2015: Form I-765 is approved.
November 15, 2015: Interview scheduled on December 22, 2015.

Hi guys,

I got a little confused about NOA1 and NOA2. I am filing for overstayed tourist visa parent.

I just got NOA1 (Receipts) yesterday and waiting for Biometric letter. So does NOA2 come BEFORE or AFTER biometric day? When I receive NOA2 (Notice of Approval), does it mean I have already passed REF stage?

August Group.

If you want to really have good info about what is happening with your group in a way that it helps each of you, you would be advised to create and maintain a listing such as the following which refers to the February 2015 group.

You will note that most everyone gets EAD/AP card in the 70-90 day range.

EAD/AP cards are processed at the Missouri site for everyone in USA, so there is some consistency.

However, after that, your files are transferred to local offices where the rest of the processing will occur.

At that point, the processing speed experiences of your group will vary WILDLY.

Note for the February group, a few received Green Card in around 2 months.

Conversely, some have not even received an interview schedule after 7 months.

It is all dependent on the backlog in the various cities and probably some competency indications also.

August 11, 2018  18 month 'Courtesy Copy' extension letter received.  Critical number  297

October 20, 2018 18 month 'Official' extension letter received.  Critical number 297

December 4, 2018  USCIS Account shows: We approved your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, 

December 4, 2018, ordered your new card for Receipt # EAC17297003XX, and will mail to the address you gave.

491 days from NOA issued by VSC until Petition approved.

December 7, 2018 USCIS sent notice:  Card mailed.

December 12, 2018 Ten year Green Card received from Lees Summit, MO

499 days from NOA issued by VSC until Green Card received.

December 6, 2018 submitted N-400 application on-line.  Estimated Completion Time: 8 months or August 2019.

December 8, 2018 received notice on USCIS that Biometrics scheduled . . . but the actual date was not yet shown.

December 11, 2018 saw in 'Documents' section of USCIS that Bio scheduled for 24 December 2018.

December 21, 2018 saw on USCIS website that they will be closed 24 December 2018 as extra holiday.

January 9, 2019 went for re-scheduled BIO appointment.  33 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

February 19, 2019 received letter in US mail that Citizenship interview scheduled for 26 March 2019. 74 days after submission on-line.

March 26, 2019 Citizenship interview scheduled for.  109 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

March 26, 2019 Passed Citizenship interview.

April 12, 2019  Received notice that Oath Ceremony had been scheduled for 24 April 2019.  17 days after interview.

April 24, 2019  Oath Ceremony completed.  29 days after interview.     139 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

April 25, 2019  USA Passport Application submitted.

May 3, 2019     USA Passport received.    149 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

May 9, 2019     Certificate of Naturalization and Citizenship returned in mail.
