Hi vj friends! Just received an email from nvc and want to know what it means.

All documentation necessary to complete the National Visa Center's processing of your case has been received. As soon as an interview date has been scheduled, the applicant, petitioner and attorney (if applicable) will be notified.

The applicant should NOT make any travel arrangements, sell property, or give up employment until the US Embassy or Consulate General has issued a visa.

Also, our ceac status now became n/a

Please enlighten.

Thanks!

It means the case is sent to embassy to schedule your interview

N/A must be new way they are stating case is no longer at NVC

and they can not update it now as embassy is in charge

Soon you should see CEAC site say case is ready for interview to be scheduled

you should receive notice if you are to schedule or if they do it

I understand many in Phillipines are waiting as i have read on here there are no appointments available at this time / seen that in the last 3 weeks

so, GOOD LUCK

Any questions can be directed to the embassy email ID

don't be afraid to push them a little

Thanks! Does this mean that we will wait for USEM to contact us for our interview schedule? Will it be emailed or mailed thru 2go?

no, not at all. NVC sets the appointment at NVC, for yer exact visa type. Once it's set, you and the petitioner will receive an email about it.

It means the case is sent to embassy to schedule your interview

sorry, wrong,

as the National Visa Center schedules the interview, based on Slots that the IV Unit releases plus the casefile's place in the scheduling queue.

It means your case is complete and you will be notified soon of your appointment interview date with USEM. Usually takes 3-4 weeks for it to be scheduled. You'll be notified soon.

Tonigrey, that's how we are able to answer your questions with factual information, otherwise we try to decipher through your question to what visa you are pursuing (our answers to your questions is usually dependent on knowing that information) so please update your timeline so we can give you accurate information.

Welcome to the forum.
