Hi to all, first time in this forum.

We filed april 1st got our first notification via sms april 6th.

According to this page https://egov.uscis.gov/crisgwi/go?action=offices.type&OfficeLocator.office_type=SCour service center was supposed to be texas, but our receipt starts with wac.

We filed thinking we will get approved by october-december (waiting to finish my orthodontic treatment and my daughter's school year) Do you guys know what are we missing here?

Thanks in advance...

You were directly routed to CSC then. This will be confirmed when you receive your NOA1 hardcopy. There is no way of knowing how fast you will be approved, but given that CSC is currently very fast you could expect to receive your NOA2 within a month or a few month's time. Then you will have the rest of the process to complete.

Thanks for your answer yuna628,

Does the same expected time applies for all countries? I am from Colombia, I did look for similar timelines and looks like most of them are directed/transferred to texas.

You being sent to CSC instead of TSC and the speed of processing hasn't anything to do with your country. Before the mandate at the end of March, applications went to Texas based on state location. TSC = east/southern states. CSC = mid/western states. This has changed a bit now, and all incoming new applications are going to CSC, while the rest trapped at TSC are stuck waiting, so it seems you are one of the lucky ones. :) As for the rest of the amount of time it will take when you get past your NOA2 stage, will be how fast you are able to obtain a medical and interview. Those will probably be country specific wait times. There is no guarantee that CSC will maintain it's current fast processing speed now that more applications will be directed there. We simply don't know yet.

The announcement of routing the adjunctatation of new petitions was announced on March 27, so if your petition was received before then you missed that "lucky" window.

When filling in your timeline, please understand that all I-129F's are sent to the LOCKBOX in Texas, and then ROUTED (not transferred) to your ASSIGNED service center- the one in Texas "TSC" (not the same as the lockbox!), or the one in California "CSC". If your tracking number starts with WAC, you're at the CSC, you were not transferred! There are no transfers at this time. If your number starts with SRC you're at the TSC and that's where you will serve your entire sentence.USCIS isn't fair.

They don't care about you.

sometimes coming to this site pisses me off. Not by the people who post here but how we are treated or our cases are treated. The new applications being sent to CSC is such BS. I am outraged. They will in turn have a shorter approval time and those who are at TSC are stuck. I image that people who filed now in April and will file in May- they will end up getting approved before my case.

I almost want to kick myself for not waiting to file.

I sometimes wonder who makes these decisions and how they come up with - oh hey let's send new applications to CSC to get processed faster than those who have already been waiting months at TSC and will continue to wait. Who cares about them..

ughhh sorry had to vent. Makes me SICK

It's all good, I understand your anger. I see this as such a slap in the face! My fiancee and I have been waiting since September of last year and it looks like people that file now will be finished before us. I guess that's life though, we just have to sit back and take it.

I was so excited when they said they would balance the workload between the Service Centers but this was completely unexpected. I just don't understand their way of thinking at all.

Just gonna stay positive though and hope that one of these days we get some kind of notice!

Maybe somehow, TSC will somehow speed up, now with apps. going to CSC.

This TSC is worse than the Vermont Service Center our K-1 went through in 2012-2013. We were 186 days at VSC.

Very painful, so I feel for you guys at TSC.

I hear you pepper44. I had so much hope when they announced the transfering of cases. Now to find out that only those cases after 27 March 2015 will be transfered, i'm heart broken. We got our Src reciept on 23rd and are now at the very bottom of the TSC pile.

You would think that they would start transferring cases that have been waiting so long already and not new cases. At least that way they would be easing the workload at TSC and in turn bring the processing times down.

This is beyond frustrating and it seems so unfair to those of us who are following the system and going about this the legal way.

Accepting I won't be with my fiance for another year is a very bitter pill to swallow. I am honeslty at a loss right now :'(

Hey guys, we filed our I-129f to the Texas Lockbox on the 29th March. They received our petition on the 2nd April and our receipt was issued on the 6th April with a WRC receipt number. I dont know if this is any help just seems that its a bit of a lottery what cases are being sent to CSC. Anyone who then what WRC means??? This is all very confusing.

There is no WRC. It is either SRC, which means your case got routed to Texas Service Center or WAC which means California Service Center. Please make sure your timeline is correct.
