If my husband gets stationed in Alaska does that qualify as "overseas" to expedite my naturalization?

I know that if my husband is overseas for more than a year the we can get my naturalization expedited.Well we are will PCS to Alaska. Im confused as to if Alaska qualifies as overseas or not? I am getting conflicting information everywhere.

Where did you get 'conflicting' information from? Where did you see that Alaska was considered 'overseas'.

Alaska is a part of the US.

I was told that anything outside of CONUS is considered overseas. And since Alaska is not CONUS and is OCONUS. I thought it would be considered overseas.

see. That is what i thought. Since it is OCONUS. thanks I just didnt want to spend money filing form N-400 for it to get rejected because Alaska isnt "overseas".

Alaska, Hawaii are considered as overseas base for military. But for USCIS it's just like any other states

Alaska has a USCIS field office. Even if the military considers it overseas, I doubt USCIS does. They are perfectly capable of handling your natz in Alaska.

CONUS = The 48 contiguous States and the District of Columbia or "the lower 48, as they're affectionately known to the Alaskans." Overseas = Any country or place beyond the CONUS. Alaska, Hawaii and the U.S. territories are considered overseas under the Space-A Regulation.
