Please can somebody help me with my case I am almost at the end of my CR-1 visa case but I got a Checklist end of May I sent in another one in June and NVC put it on System June 10th and today makes it 30 business days and case still not completed yet please for how long do I still needed to wait for? This long waiting is killing me can somebody tell me what to do.

you can call NVC and get update or go through your state senator and fill out a release of info so they can call about your case. Otherwise you wait ... which is what this whole process is ... the wait game

You were check-listed which put you back at the end pf the line. All you can do is wait. Sorry taking so long hope no more checklist for you.

Yes I called NVC yesterday and I was told to wait for 30 days but not I don't even know what to believe anymore, is there any other way to ask for update.

I know it is very difficult but you just have to be patient. Calling everyday might get you some results. That's what I did till they gave me a positive response.

It's been 30 days since you submitted the last checklist response. You can ask for a supervisor review on your checklist if you choose.

Regrettably NVC at the moment is moving v-e-r-y slowly.

I don't personally know of any cases where a congress/senate rep was able to speed things up?

There really doesnt seem to be any alternative to just waiting.... and of course ringing NVC regularly if that helps you to cope....

Requesting the Supervisor to review your AOS or IV package. You send an email. Of course you realize that going to probably back log you even further because they are taking about 30 business days to read emails.

I know two friends both got checklist in May and they just got case complete last week. So why don;t you cal and call that's really all you can do.

You can call as much as you want. What do you mean possible response. You ask they tell they may be snippy mean every operator on phone has their own personality .

I know I called no less than 2 times a day up to 5 every day for 8 months i was at NVC. Just call if you want to know its up to you or just wait and see,
