Is a social security nimber required for AOS? My wife hasnt gotten one yet because we were waiting till after we are married.

Is a social security number required for AOS? My wife hasnt gotten one yet because we were waiting till after we are married. I just read that you need to apply for one but what if her i-94 expires in 2 weeks? Can she still get a ssn?

She can't get an SSN if her I-94 expires in 2 weeks. They will most likely turn her away.

You don't need a SSN for AOS though. Make sure you apply for her EAD, then she can go ahead and apply for SSN when she has her EAD.

Alright soo how long is the wait time for the EAD?

About 90 days, assuming you get no RFEs.
