How to Expedite Process in NVC? Military Deployment Reason

REASON OF EXPEDITE: Military Deployment of my husband this coming August 2014.

QUESTION:
1. How do you expedite process for NVC?
2. Is the transfer orders of the petitioner enough as proof? We are still in process of getting the deployment letter.
We are already approved for I-130. Our papers were already in NVC last June 11.
We also already emailed NVC a lot of times. No reply yet. Do you suggest to call them everyday to get the Case Number?
Thank you very much!

You can't put an expedite on case number. You get your case number in the order NVC decides you get it.

Apart from that, you'll need to call them up and tell them you want to expedite. They'll give you the email and what information you need to provide. Military orders are enough. Once you get your case number then they'll work on your expedite request, everything should move fairly quick after that. Good luck

You can pressure them for a case number but I don't think that'll make them work any faster.

Yes your case will go directly to the embassy once they've approved your expedite request. Basically you can request to expedite now, it stays with NVC then once your case number has been assigned then they foward your request to the embassy

Call the NVC until you get a case number, but it normally takes 20-30 business days from their received date.

You can however, ask to speak to a supervisor to ask to be expedited based on your USCIS number due to military deployment and see if that helps (if you're especially nice.)

The foreign spouse will still need to get a medical before interview (which Manila should provide a date for if they also approve the expedite) and provide all the necessary IV documents including DS-260, and the petitioner will still need to provide the AOS and documents. Likely all documents of that will be either submitted to Manila beforehand or taken on interview day but they should be able to provide you information on what is needed and how.

Once you get your MNL case number you call the NVC. I was able to call the NVC and get the case number fairly quickly, but we also expedited through the USCIS. Of course it was also over 4 years ago we went through the process.

ANY help .please.

I want expidite my case. but i dont have the way?can you give me sample letter please.I means. WHAT I SHOULD WRITE .THANK you so much.

Since your timeline isn't filled out, I don't know which part of the process of which visa petition you are referring to. If you know where your petition is (USCIS? NVC? Embassy?), call them or email them that your fiance/husband is being deployed soon, attach a copy of his order. On the email, give them your names, your case number etc.

I think you should call NVC first and ask them because I know they give expedite only for special circumstances. Otherwise, you would have to wait for your priority date which could take years. Please call NVC first and ask them what your options are.

Hi,

So I have a few questions about expediting the case due to military deployment.

Does Korea count as deployment?

I am requesting an expedite through the local congressman's office. How do we word the request? Does the wordings matter- Do we say "deployed to korea" or "assigned to korea" and is requesting an expedite for wanting to accompany spouse to korea a bad reason?

My time:

filed AOS on 08/01/2014

NOA on 08/06/2014

Biometrics on 08/20/2014

change of case status to scheduling an interview on 08/29/2014

Filed at national benefits center. Local office is Dallas.

Any help is much appreciated.
