Getting ready for the interview

Okay, I didn't go to work Thursday and Friday just to finish everything for my interview tomorrow! YAY! After gathering all documents, I was able to finish it yesterday and cleaned my room as well so I will have this refreshing feeling lol.

Here are the documents I prepared:

  • DS-156 (2 copies)
  • DS-157 (2 copies)
  • DS-156K (1 copy)
  • DS-230 (1 copy) - I filled out Part II as just in case
  • Original copy NSO Birth certificate
  • Original NBI Clearance for Travel US
  • Evidence of Genuine Love (emails and chat for the past 2 years)
  • Evidence of Ongoing Engagement (photos, chat & call logs, remittances, letters for this year)
  • Letter of Intent to marry with 90 days (1 from him and 1 from me)
  • Original CENOMAR
  • Form I-134 together with supporting documents (W-2, Form 1040, Employment certificate, Bank statements, Pay slips for the last 3 months)
  • Deposit confirmation (got it thru email)
  • Appointment letter
  • Passport
  • Extra copy of DS-230 (as some part I am not sure if I filled out correctly LOL

I also bought these just in case:

  • Copy of passport Bio page only
  • Copy of his passport Bio page only
  • Copy of NBI Clearance
  • Copy of birth certificate from the municipal (as the year I was born is not readable from NSO copy kind of nervous with this one)
  • Copy of CENOMAR
  • St. Lukes receipt and CD

Documents are in a long plastic envelope. Do think this type of envelop is okay? I'm very OC when it comes to things like this.

12/04/2013 - I-485 Family-based Card in production (a.m.) then went to Decision (p.m.) - NO interview

12/09/2013 - Green Card was mailed!

12/11/2013 - GC received! 2 months and 1 day from the NOA1

As for DS 230 Part II---I thought for K1 we only need to fill up the part I.

Also for Letter of Intent to Marry, I wonder if we have to make another one apart from the one's we submitted to USCIS along with our I-129F?

Steve have kept all the originals of our documents so he can send them to me as soon as we get our MNL Case #.

09/04/2013 - Medical Exam at SLEC (Done in 1 day)

09/25/2013 - Interview Appointment (Under AP with 221G)

10/01/2013 - Additional Document dropped at 2GO SM Cebu

10/08/2013 - CEAC Status Updated to READY

10/30/2013 - CEAC Status Updated to AP

10/30/2013 - CEAC Status ISSUED

11/06/2013 - VISA Received

11/11/2013 - CFO Done

Also, don't forget to fill in every....every blank spot on your forms...this is important..."None, NA"...hand write it in if need be..

  • Original NBI Clearance for Travel US

  • Copy of birth certificate from the municipal (as the year I was born is not readable from NSO copy kind of nervous with this one) USEM IS ONLY INTERESTED IN THE NSO BC, if its not readable they may request another.
  • Copy of CENOMAR Not needed for USEM but comes in handy for CFO if you haven't completed that yet.
  • St. Lukes receipt and CD Not needed

Thank you everyone! It was approved!! Now waiting for passport pick up at SM MOA!! Wish everything will be okay and hoping that passport is ready for pick up this week!! Although I am quite worried as they didn't ask for my DS-230!! Weird!!

Thank you! But you know this is kind of weird, they didn't ask for my DS-230!! But just in case fill them out both (Part I and II) Because I've read some COs are asking for the Part II that's why I filled out mine.

i have the same problem with my NSO birth cert, but i think mine is worse because even my name is kind of unreadable.
