Hello my VJ friends!... I went to my biometrics appointment yesterday at Detroit...appoinment schedule is 11:00 a.m but we got there an hour earlier. We waited for almost 2 hours due to blackout in Jefferson ave.,the receptionist ask for a valid id and i only have passport, and i guess she was confused coz i used my husband family name which doesn't match on my passport so she ask for our marriage certificate so i show her, then i fill up the form and waited,When the power is back we got inline and they call us for our finger scan, photo and signature it was pretty quick... I just had a question how long do you think they will approved my EAD and AP? Now that i'm done with my biometric. If ever i have interview for my AOS do you think it will be in the same place where i had my biometrics?.and i read some post here if our case transfer to CSC it will take time for the GC to get approved?...and what documents should i prepare if ever i had interview?...thank you guys for reading my post and your answer is highly appreciated...God bless us all in our journey...

When you do biometrics usually has no effect on the process. Your EAD/AP will be approved around 70-90 days from filing. So, by late October, 2 more months. Hopefully, you'll be lucky and it will be sooner.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

I hope you will get an interview date cuz it seems that people having interviews are getting the GC faster. Folks transferred to CSC are having a very long wait. If you have an interview show all joint accounts you share, photo's, mortgage/lease, Life Ins.etc... Good Luck on your AOS journey
