My Congressman's office informed me today that the CSC is unable to locate my application, two weeks shy of my six month wait. Does anyone have any information on what happens from here? If I need to resubmit, will we have to wait another five months?? Would love any information any of you can provide. Thanks!!

Sept 11, 2011 NOA2-took 19 days to get case number

Sept 30, 2011 NVC number and IIN received Friday-gotta wait till Monday

Oct 13, 2011 Case Completed- 13 days from receiving case number Took 32 days from NOA2

Nov 30, 2011 Notified of Interview date

January 19, 2012 Interview- 240 days from NOA1

INTERVIEW RESULTS-APPROVED WITH 14 WEEKS AP--but he got his visa in 56 days!!!!!!

I have to know the name of your congressman and the State you live in please. He/She must be amazing to get a response like this. He must be very respected and well known and I hope his is around me if I need anything.

Sept 11, 2011 NOA2-took 19 days to get case number

If you end up having to resubmit your petition (and accompanying documents), you can request an expedite based on USCIS error.

September 10, 2009: Arrived for first meeting in-person!
June 17, 2010: Arrived for second in-person meeting and start of travel together to other areas of China!

December 8, 2010: Wedding date set; it will be on February 18, 2011!

April 22, 2011: Mailed I-130 to Chicago
April 28, 2011: Received NOA1 via text/email, file routed to CSC (priority date April 25th)

July 26, 2011: Received NOA2 via text/email!!!
July 30, 2011: Received NOA2 hardcopy in mail
August 8, 2011: NVC received file
September 1, 2011: NVC case number assigned
September 2, 2011: AOS invoice received, OPTIN email for EP sent
September 7, 2011: Paid AOS bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 9, 2011)
September 8, 2011: OPTIN email accepted, GZO number assigned
September 10, 2011: Emailed AOS package
September 12, 2011: IV bill invoiced
September 13, 2011: Paid IV bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 14, 2011)
September 14, 2011: Emailed IV package
October 3, 2011: Emailed checklist response (checklist generated due to typo on Form DS-230)
October 6, 2011: Case complete at NVC
November 10, 2011: Interview - APPROVED!!!
December 7, 2011: POE - Sea-Tac Airport

September 17, 2013: Mailed I-751 to CSC

September 23, 2013: Received NOA1 in mail (receipt date September 19th)

October 16, 2013: Biometrics Appointment

January 28, 2014: Production of new Green Card ordered

February 3, 2014: New Green Card received; done with USCIS until fall of 2023*

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

The way that CSC has been moving, it might be faster :(

I'm sorry, I suggest the USCitizen Spouse call into USCIS, get a Tier 2 Human, an ISO, and inquire for casefile status.

Somethings really amiss at that congressman's office, that Immigration Liason Staffer is much confused.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

I'm sorry, I suggest the USCitizen Spouse call into USCIS, get a Tier 2 Human™, an ISO, and inquire for casefile status.

Somethings really amiss at that congressman's office, that Immigration Liason Staffer is much confused.

How in the world do you actually do that? All I've managed to do is get transferred to a 'specialist' who was specialized in telling me the same ####### and making me go away. Another time was transferred to a 'supervisor'... who said the exact same things as the previous person and refused to do anything.

03/27/12: interview - APPROVED
04/12/12: POE San Diego

ROC
12/19/14: received reminder letter from USCIS to file for ROC
01/15/14: sent I-751 application

05/14/14: received card production notification by e-mail, approval date 05/13

Naturalization

02/01/24: N-400 submitted online; Biometrics reuse notice received immediately online; "case being actively reviewed" after a couple hours

02/09/24: received NOA1 by mail

02/10/24: received biometrics reuse notice by mail

04/08/24: interview scheduled for 05/14. Received "We have taken an action in your case" email.

05/14/24: approved at interview, same-day oath ceremony in San Francisco 🥳 🇺🇸

I'm sure they are. However, after sitting on these petitions for several months I'm sure the pile has built to truly Epic proportions... "Lost" in this case is probably really "we can't find it in the huge pile yet"

All they will say is "16June.. 16June..." and refuse to do anything else... :crying::cry:

The lady I just spoke to said 'Maybe by the end of February...."
