Hope everyone is having a great week so far, and recooperating from the holiday weekend!! My daughter is home sick today, like all parents I don't like to see my kids sick, but sometimes I don't mind...it's been very quiet and peaceful :D

07/06/10 - NOA2 - Approved!!!! :)

07/12/10 - Received NOA2 in the mail

07/13/10 - Received at NVC

07/16/10 - NVC changes embassy per our request

07/19/10 - Told we are in AP @ NVC

07/30/10 - Case sent to Cairo embassy

08/05/10 - Case received at embassy

09/07/10 - Received packet 3 - FINALLY!!!

09/15-10 - 2nd trip to Egypt, returned home on 10/5/10

12/14/10 - Received interview date

01/09/11 - 3rd trip to Egypt

01/12/11 - Interview - APPROVED!!!...but AP

01/24/11 - Returned to the states without my habibi :(

04/06/11 - AP was completed!! :)

05/10/11 - Visa has been issued!!!

Yayyy its december!!! ive been here for 5 years this month I do believe. granted i am almost divorced from my mena man, i will always have a part of him because i have Josh. this time of year is quite tough on me, tougher then i thought it would be actually.

May 30 08-Baby Joshua was born

Jan 15-Back to NY we go...

May 10-made decision not to go back overseas.

July 10-filed for divorce

Jan 11-Divorce final

July 11-1st trip to take Josh to see George

Mar 12-2nd trip to take Josh to see George

Hard to believe it's December, the fall and summer flew by for me. We just filed our AOS papers today, and our second anniversary is in a couple weeks. we're praying that the process goes smoothly with no RFEs for our financial stuff. It's been rough in our neck of the woods lately, being Muslims and living in a state where a supposed Muslim was plotting an attack on a public event... and then the mosque I go to was firebombed (a retaliation for the previous mentioned plotting, I guess) and now it's to the point where I can't go shopping without worrying about whether I need to be keeping an eye on everyone around me, after being harassed with my kids while shopping today.

This has been an up and down year for me! I made an announcement on FB for those of you who are on! So everyone knows! LOL :dance::dance:

07/21/11 filed AOS off tourist visa

07/28/11 USCIS cashed check

07/30/11 Recieved NOA1 and Biometrics letter

08/24/2011 Biometrics

08/25/2011 RFE sent to us for some info we've already sent in

08/30/2011 sent in the rest of info USCIS asked for

09/13/2011 went to congressman's office to sign papers for expedite of work permit, due to financial hardship

09/15/2011 Work permit expedite approved!! He can finally find a job!

09/24/2011 work permit arrives

09/26/2011 Apply for social security number!

09/30/2011 Letter is sent for interview

11/07/2011 INTERVIEW!!!

Its 2012 and still no approval! Still waiting

01/27/2012 Letter sent stating that file was sent on for more review :(

Hi! How's everyone's winter and Christmas season going? Here, it's pretty calm. Almost missing the snow! And the Christmas feeling!

My baby just turned one! But I'm such a bad mummy we did not make the party yet ... my husband has been away on missions. Hope to have the party soon!
