So, fiance got an email from stanley and associates that he's gonna get documents from the post office. We tracked the passport that we sent to the embassy together with all the documents we were missing, now it says its in origination scan, so meaning its in the process of being sent back. Anyone know what it will most likely be? Approved or denied? Ceac status hasnt changed yet. Anyone with this experience?

What does the ceac status say? What documents were you asked for (what was the concern), and what did you provide?

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

We got denied visa. And there's no waiver available. It's for one time use of controlled substance not marijuana. I don't know what to do next. I don't even know if we can appeal. Reapply.. Or w/e to do. It's just a long devastating process.

Have you posted a topic about it in the wider forum yet? There is definitely some knowledge out there about how to handle it.

What are your options for living in a country other than America? Might be worth thinking about.

For the DS-160 they require you to fill in the form in English only. So what do you do with name or address that have Swedish characters? Do I just put o instead of ö, a instead of å,ä?

You should put aa instead of å, etc. That is the proper way to do it.

I can't recall the Swedish ones off the top of my head, but it should be ae instead of æ and oe instead of ø for Danish.

I hope you get some good answers.

I've looked at a DS-160 sample on what questions you need to answer and it seems crazy difficult, I just barely understand half of it. This sample is for a B2 visa, is there a sample for a K-1?

Purpose of your trip to the US? Marrying my fiancé, is that the answer they want?
Intended date of arrival? How can I possibly know that?
Intended length of stay in the US? Ehm.. for as long as the marriage lasts..?
Do you have any immediate relatives in the US? Does fiancé count?
And I have never heard of "organization name".. :o

Wait to panic until you have it. It has small places where it explains the questions and some of them have like a drop down so you pick from that and then it makes more sense,..

Only slightly paniced. :D You're right, I just want to make sure I have all the info/answers right in front of me when I start to fill out the form so it goes smoother.

They have a save function so you can stop, save and continue later if you need to. :)
