R & G JFK 2019-06-16 No Yes - High Went very smoothly, opened the envelope asked us where we came from and how long, if we had any meats or fruits, asked if had a date set, stamp a few scribbles and off we went. He was the only person screening with a line of over 500 people, didn't break a sweat or give an attitude due to frustration very professional. 2023-05-25

Tiziana & Scott CDN-USA Border 2019-06-14 No Yes - High POE was a breeze. I went through the Lewiston/Queenston Bridge in Buffalo. I drove up in a uHaul truck with all my belongings and went into Secondary with my unopened visa packet, passport, packing list and documents related to my Dog. It was a busy day so the wait was a little long. The woman who had activated my K1 was very kind and we chatted a bit about random topics, even had one of the other CBP officers coming in on the chat. She hadn't activated a K1 in a while asked me a couple of questions about my fiance and where I was planning on living. She asked me about my previous withdrawal of application for admission from 2011 merely out of curiosity (her words) it didn't create any issue for me and she said she was happy to see that I was 100% honest throughout the entire process (she wished more people were that honest, it would make her job easier) and from there she moved on and mentioned how super organized I was and thanked me for making the process a little smoother for her. After she took my fingerprints she gave me another pink slip and reminded me I have 90 days to marry. I asked about importing my Dog and was told they no longer need to see the Rabies Vaccination. I asked if they wanted to check the uHaul and they declined. After about an hour I was sent on my way with a big "Welcome to the USA!". Very happy experience and recommend this land crossing! 2024-04-03
