Acudus & Colum Washington DC 2019-09-24 - High Expected to face long lines and a long wait, but we were instead greeted by a near empty immigration hall. We were quickly taken out of line and brought to a desk where an immigration officer asked us some basic questions and collected the consulate package. We walked to a different room and waited for less than 15 minutes after checking in. The immigration officers asked several straightforward questions, and seemed satisfied when we told them about our plans to marry in 4 weeks. My fiance and I were together the entire time, which I had not expected. Overall, it was a quick process and the immigration officers were courteous and professional. 2020-04-03
