Andrew (UK) & Dee Atlanta 2022-05-13 Yes,EAD Card No - High It was a little scary because you were isolated while they prepared to process. The staff were nice, but did nothing to put you at ease. The process took about 30 minutes and was not complicated. 2024-04-16
Hally H & A Atlanta 2021-04-11 No Yes - High 2024-07-01
Maya & Marc Atlanta 2021-11-14 No No - High Wait was long, but they only asked me when the wedding will be and where will it take place. They explained me the rules of the K1 visa and that was pretty much it. The airport is very big and if you need to get on another flight from Atlanta, make sure you have at least a 4 hour layover. 2022-02-06

Thana & Broshi Atlanta 2021-08-13 No Yes - High Fast processing in the border control. Not a lot of questions asked by the IO for my yellow packet. 2024-09-26
Kris&Mar M & K Atlanta 2021-11-01 No No - High 2022-04-09
J & M Atlanta 2021-10-10 Yes,Passport Stamp No - High We waited 2 months after receiving the visa (a few weeks past our 2 year marriage anniversary) so that the CR-1 would be an IR-1 and we would avoid removing conditions later (we had already waited in this process for almost 2 years due to the Covid pandemic). At POE, we provided CBP with our marriage certificate showing our marriage date and they advised the visa would automatically be changed to IR-1. They crossed out CR-1 on the visa and wrote IR-1 next to it. They also wrote IR-1 on the passport stamp. CBP advised the SSN would be sent in a few weeks and the Green Card in a few months. SSN never arrived. We had to call and make an appointment at a local Social Security office to get them to start the process. Nothing was in their system for our case. Green Card arrived 3 months later as "conditional" CR-1, not IR-1. Back into the system, filed I-90 to correct it... estimated wait time was initially 10 months, then 20 months. No end in sight. Contacted our Senator for help. POE in Atlanta was smooth, CBP was nice, but the process after that was awful. DO NOT WAIT for your SSN. Contact the SSA. If you enter with an IR-1 due to timing (with a CR-1 visa) DO NOT WAIT to contact USCIS. Be your own advocate. 2023-06-15
