Very easy and smooth experience. Asked for the address I would like my documents to be mailed to and I was asked if I have any questions for him. That was it. I don’t think I was there for more than 5 minutes. |

I traveled Krakow - Munich - Los Angeles with Lufthansa. At the check-in, I showed antigen COVID test and proof of vaccination against COVID-19.
On arrival at the LAX, there was a very long line (I'd say 200-300 people) for the border control, it took about an hour to get through even though a lot of CBP officers were working. Once I reached the border control officer I volunteered that I'm here on a K-1 fiancee visa and passed my passport and the yellow envelope with the documents. The officer took it and started carefully going through all of the documents, sorting and giving back to me some of them which he didn't need (e.g. extra pictures of me). He said that I have to get married in 90 days and asked if we made any plans yet. And in the end, he smalled and said heartwarming: "Welcome to America" :) . I was not asked any other questions.
Overall I had a very nice experience flying with Lufthansa and going through the border control in LAX. |

We both flew back together and presented ourselves to us immigration together at LAX. Officer asked what was our relationship to each other and I said we were engaged to be married and she was traveling on a K1 and we we're ready to turn in out packet. It was a Wednesday night. Took us total about 10 minutes. Officer pointed out the date by when the 90 days runs out. And gave me bad info on us being able to just take the marricw certificate to USCIS to get a green card. I asked about AOS and he was clueless. |
