Not sure it's true or not but they do take their time. Still at USCIS 03/19/2016. Recieved Reaffirm 11/20/2017. CEAC changed from AP to READY, two days after 3ed interview, 05/06/2019. Arrived in the US, July 1, 2019. Bottom line, they make their decision before you show up with the exception if you mess up. If they are nice to you, the Visa is yours. When we were refused they had nothing, thus the reaffirm. It's a horrible wait and only those that really love each other will survive it. My prayers are with all of you. We are done with this part at last! My husband became a US citizen May 28th 2023. Free from US immigration! The nightmare has finally and truly ended. | 2023-08-12 | |||||

On June 19th, Consulate received via DHL our updated documents & asked my husband to report to the Consulate on the 21st to sign the DS-230. After a brief interview, the CO reviewed only about 20pictures of my last trip to Egypt with my children, asked my husband who all the people in the pics were, opened our case file & wrote 'APPROVED' & congratulated my husband. Told him his visa should arrive in approximately 14days... | 2011-11-09 |
