Reused the previous biometrics. Best immigration interview experience ever!
Checked in first, and waited about 50 mins before the IO called me. Did combo interview for I751/N400. Started with writing/reading/civic test, and some simple questions about how we meet, when we get married, etc., and then back to the N400 interview where I answered the 'yes/no' questions from the form. Spouse stayed there for the whole time. In the end OI said they'll recommend approval for both of my cases. However due to the system merging it might take some time so I should expect a late February oath. OI was very nice and fun, most relaxing immigration interview throughout the whole journey. |

Interview took place without incident. When the USCIS officials found that we had driven over 4 hours to get to the interview they went out of their way and arranged an oath ceremony for the two of us that took place immediately after the interview. This saved us another long trip. Complements to the USCIS - they make a real connection with people. Immigration is now COMPLETED, no further entries will be made in visajourney, it was a useful tool - thanks! |
