Then we got NOA1 telling us for the biometric on 19 June. After biometric I got a RFE 31 July 2019 asked for my birth certificate and the translation even tho I did already submitted before, maybe uscis made mistake and asked again? Or maybe asking again to make sure the document they had is correct... anyway, thatâ€™s ok, So we respond it on August 6 using usps express, the mail receipt received on August 7 and now we are waiting for the next response of step AOS last notif is August 8 saying the received our RFE answer and NBC continue to process. I have a good interview AOS and approved on Feb 13 2020	2024-04-12

When we went for the interview, the female officer handling our case was not very welcoming & throughout the entire interview, my husband & I didn't feel comfortable. When she asked for specific dates, she wanted to know if we had rehearsed it & how could we remember dates? This was the tone for our entire interview. In the end, she said everything looked okay, but she had to wait for my husband's medical documents. We left not knowing if he would be approved for his conditional green card. It took 14 days to be approved. Now, we can take a break from USCIS for a couple of years while we continue with our lives. Received green card 9 days later.	2020-02-23

She directed a majority of the questions to the applicant. Spent a lot of time reviewing the I-485 and asked to confirm certain information on the petition. Asked us how we met and how many times I had travel to Thailand. At the conclusion of the interview, she told us she would review the file and make her decision later that day. She stated if there was any additional information needed, she would send a letter with her request. Interview went smoothly and felt very relaxed throughout the conversation.	2024-05-16
