A & A K1 New York City NY 2019-07-11 2019-07-15 2019-09-12 2019-08-12 2020-03-12 2020-03-16 Yes 2020-03-23 We got a RFE on September 12 asking for a copy of my BC which we sent in the first place. We sent it again and arrived at USCIS on September 20th. After that a long and painful nightmare started. We never got the update of ‘RFE response received’. We called and the told us to wait 60 days because that’s how long it can take to process RFE. After waiting 2 months I called again and made an inquiry. I received a really stupid answer from that (just saying my case was under normal processing time and not if they received my response). I made another inquiry but never got answer On December 26 we called a Tier 2. He told is everything was fine and not to worry. On December 28 we wrote to our congresswoman asking for help. At this point we didn’t have any proper answer if our case was still on hold or moving on. The congresswoman sent a letter and came back with an answer saying they never received the RFE response. This was really frustrating and nerve racking. After 3 months of waiting and being patient our case was still on hold. The congresswoman sent a letter again asking for clarification because of all the contradiction. We contacted a lawyer and he did the same. They both sent a letter with all the proofs and facts. On January 28 we got a case update online saying ‘RFE response received’. Finally! After 4 months. I don’t know if they lost it or what. But that meant more waiting. On January 30, at 8am I got the update of Ready to Schedule Interview. And at noon O got the Interview Scheduled. 2020-03-24
