Not before that. Everyone was very nice and friendly. The officer asked questions from I-485, I-944, and then about my education, if I ever worked legally, or illegally in the USA. He asked more questions to my husband. The interview went very smooth and we all ended up laughing and joking towards the end. The case was approved on the spot. Everything started getting updated pretty much on the dates, how the officer told us, while walking us out the office. | 2024-09-10

Was real easy, just talk to the interviewer and be legit, have your paper work in order. Overall experience was great. Got approved after 5minutes of leaving the uscis interview area. :) | 2021-01-31

Interviewer went through all the questions in the i-485 form and after that asked few questions like describe the wedding, whose family members were in the wedding, did you guys do anything special after the wedding etc. Basic questions. After the interview she said she will review and we will get a notification if she needs more info from us. Within 30 minutes of leaving the interview, the status changed to "Card is being produced". Super happy. We got 10 years greencard on Jan 30th. March 26, 2019 - Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview (Might take a while before the interview is scheduled because my local office is Seattle which has a crazy backlog) | 2024-02-14
