She took our 2019 tax return, some photos, signed letters from family and friends and a few other items. Her final question was to have my husband look me in the eye and tell me why he married me. He teared up and said, "she's my destiny", she then asked me to do the same for him, and I said, "he is the most loving, kind, responsible and honest man I have ever had the pleasure of meeting". We were both crying at this point. She stood up, handed him a single sheet of paper and said, "Welcome to the US, you're approved". We both sobbed and hugged and laughed! We walked out of the USCIS office with huge smiles on our faces! Our interview was at 7:15am, we were done by 7:45am so we spent the rest of the day having fun! Be patient, this process takes a long time, but in the end, it's worth every minute! :) My husband's Green Card was mailed on 2/11/21 so we should have it in a few days! :) | 2021-02-12 | |||

We only waited for 10min and once we were in the office the interview took about 45-50 min and she only asked I-485 yes/no questions updated some stuff and asked us when we got married! She looked at all our original documents and also looked through our photos. Took our house deed (we bought a house couple months back) and my husbands 12months of bank statements! She approved us on the spot! | 2021-02-15 |
