The filing was rejected by Lockbox staff in error, which we confirmed by calling USCIS call center. We received the case back on 7/6/2020. The packet was reassembled, refiled, and received at Lockbox on 7/15/2020. 2/16/2021. Received email and text notices of I485 interview scheduled on. Paper I797s received on 2/22. Interview scheduled for 3/25/2021. 3/25/2021. Interview at Pittsburgh Field Office. Arrived 130pm. Appointment was for 145pm and we were seen by the IO shortly before 200pm. Our IO was very professional and friendly. He began the interview by asking verifying some basic personal information. He said he was aware that we lived very far away and said he saw no issues with our case and that he simply had to verify some other information for the file and we would be on our way. Throughout the short interview he was very courteous and professional. At the conclusion he explained when my wife and daughters cards would arrive and gave us some further information on removal of conditions and the citizenship process. The interview was completed in about an hour. We are relieved beyond words to reach this milestone. Green Card arrived! On our 1st wedding anniversary...nice gift from USCIS! | 2024-09-24 | ||
