Vicko Kleber & Victor K1 Philadelphia PA 2019-11-22 2019-12-05 2020-01-21 2019-12-23 2020-12-15 2021-05-04 Yes 2021-05-10 1. Our interview was scheduled for April 15, 2020. 2. The interview was canceled due to the pandemic on March 29, 2020. 3. Our case was back to "READY FOR AN INTERVIEW" on April 1, 2020. 4. It's September 4, 2020, and the Philadelphia Office seems like they are still 'no working'. 5. We contacted our US Senator and US Congresswoman on November 4, 2020, to submit an inquiry on our behalf to USCIS about our interview to be rescheduled. 6. US Senator's office contacted USCIS on November 5 about our case and a new date for our interview. 7. Our US Senator's office contacted us on November 12 about our new rescheduled interview. The new date will be December 15, 2020. 8. We got our interview letter in the mail with the new date on it. No changes in the USCIS webpage. 9. When we had our interview, we were separated and the IO asked us a lot of questions. Surely, she thought that our marriage was fraudulent since we haven't much time married. I'm not sure, but she was surprised and congratulated us because all our responses were similar and honest. Since our marriage is real and we're more than happy with our relationship, we didn't have anything to hide from the USCIS. 10. Then, 4 days after the interview, we were required to submit additional evidence about an arrest that my spouse had 11 years ago. We were frustrated because we submitted those documents, but the officer needed more "court" evidence about the disposition of the case. 11. Therefore, we contacted immediately the Courthouse where those documents were recorded. Sadly, the courthouse replied to us that the process would take around 6 months to a year due to the Covid. We were really discouraged because of this. So, we had to hire a private lawyer to help us expedite the court process. (An unexpecting expense) 12. Due to our excellent lawyer's job, we got the documents in two months, and immediately we sent the court paperwork back to USCIS on March 7, 2021. 13. Since that day, we hadn't heard anything back from USCIS, neither its webpage was updated with the documentation received. But, for God's mercy, we got an update in our case on May 4, 2021. Our case was finally approved and the new PR card had been produced. 14. Finally, we got the new card in the mail on May 10, 2021. Good luck to y'all. 2024-08-31

AOS interview went very smooth, the IO was probably the most pleasant official person I dealt with in the USA. Unfortunately he informed us that my medical I did abroad was lost in transfers between Texas and California, so I had to do my medical aniew, which resulted in almost 2 months delay. Luckily not a big deal for us and when I submitted the medical results, my GC was approved and I received it a week later :) 2021-05-31
