Contacted USCIS, ombudsman, etc - no results. Ended up suing USCIS in federal court (writ of mandamus). This is the only way we got the case processed and approved. Highly recommend if your case is delayed, do not wait any longer. Once we filed suit, it took less than 60 days until we had the interview and green card in hand.
