Review Topic: Adjustment of Status

On time, cheerful agent. Started with i130 questions, then questions about the relationship. Moved on to i485 standard questions. Not a lot of personal/relationship questions. Asked about extra evidence of bona fide marriage, said utilities bills on only name, joint account statement with few transactions and lack of extra financial mingling wasn't good enough. (There was 400 pages in the process total with plenty of evidence, anyways!) Kept extra pictures and gave a spiel about not sure if we really lived together but also explained ROC and citizenship process which kinda gave it away it could be that bad.

Didn't approved on the spot, was told it was going for "review" because the evidence "was slim". Well. After leaving the buidling the online account changed status of the i485 to "new card being produced" so just empty talk, maybe to see how we would react? Anyway, here's to two years of no immigration processes!

Review Topic: Adjustment of Status

Interview was very quick and smooth, we were in and out in ~15/20 minutes. IO was very nice and pleasant.
After swearing us in, she asked for our IDs, and started by going over the I-485. She asked me (the applicant) some very basic personal questions: how do I pronounce my name, date of birth, place of birth, first names of my parents, where they were born, my SSN (I did not remember it, only the last 4 digits, she said it was fine), who I worked for and since when, what is my current address, and if I own my home.
Then she moved to the I-130 and started asking similar questions to my spouse (the petititioner): place of birth, date of birth, parents first names, her address, where does she work, her SSN.

We then moved to the relationship, and she asked some very standard questions: how did we meet, where did we go on our first date, for how long did we date before marrying, if we have moved together, what the deal was with our wedding (we had a courthouse... read complete review

Review Topic: Adjustment of Status

Our interview began on time and went smoothly. The officer took my picture and checked fingerprints, then explained how he was going to proceed. His questions were nothing out of the ordinary (dates and places of birth, previous addresses, etc). My husband and I were interviewed together the entire time. At the end of the interview, the officer told us he was recommending our petitions for approval, and went over the protocol to file for removal of conditions when the time comes. Overall it was a great experience from beginning to end.

It was super quick! I went in at 9:00 and got out at 9:30.
The officers there were super nice and helpful.

She just went through I-485 and asked stuff on the application.
Didn't even ask to leave any supplement documents that I've brought xD

My status was updated to "New Card Is Being Produced" an hour after the Interview

Very short wait. Early morning.
Very straightforward process: You check in, they take your picture, fingerprints and you put the interview notice in a box where a random officer picks it up and calls you in.
Interview was a breeze. Yes/No questions from the I-485, questions about our relationship and a review of the information we put on the forms we submitted. At the end, we were asked if we wanted to submit anything else to support our case. We were given the Interview outcome notice and told a decision would be made when all the information gathered that day was reviewed. Explained the 90-day green card renewal process and made me sign a letter about it.
Officer was very courteous and amicable. Made our nervousness more bearable.
If you have nothing to hide, you will be perfectly fine. It is more a conversation rather than an interrogation.
Status changed to approved 30 mins after leaving the office.
