I'm going to give you a little trick to make your visa process faster and it's applied as of October-December 2018. After you get your NOA2, wait for two weeks before calling NVC. Normally, your case number will be assigned in two weeks. After you got your case number, it's time for Rock n Roll. Send an email to US Embassy in Jakarta to get interview appointment. You don't need them to send you the P3. You can go straight to P4 and get the interview date after you fill the DS-160 and pay for the visa. Usually you'll get the interview in 2-4 weeks. Ask for 4 weeks from the date of your email because it will give you sufficient time to have your case transferred to the embassy. This time line will give you sufficient time to complete the documents required for the interview. It will be better if your fiance is coming and give it to you, so you wouldn't be worried about some important documents are lost in shipping or get delayed. His/her presence also a good reason for attending the inte... read complete review

Just had my interview a week ago and it went pretty well and quick.
Some tips:
- Don't come too early, I ended up waiting outside as I was 30 min too early.
- Don't bring water bottle, I have to throw mine out. They have water cooler in the interview area.
- If you have applied for US visa before, bring them with you. I had 3 visas on 3 different passports, the lady who collected my documents took 2 of the latest.
- Read the 2 papers that you will be given while waiting for the interview. It's on genital mutilation and domestic abuse. I was asked by my interviewer if I had read it. I didn't, so he asked me to read it on the spot before he continued with the questions.
- The evidence that was sent along with the petition was returned to me by the lady collecting the documents. I was told to show it if asked during the interview. So I guess you don't really have to bring your own copy. Just bring your new set of on-going relationship ev... read complete review

3 layers of security, only one that was kind of rude. All embassy staffs were nice, fast and professional. The lady who gathered and checked the documents worked really fast, the interviewer guy was really nice and we got to laugh a lot during the interview.

My fiance went to the interview by himself and got the approval after a few simple questions. Throughout the entire interview it felt more like a very casual, friendly conversation. We really appreciate that the interviewer put my fiance at ease since the very beginning with no intimidating vibe. Many light hearted jokes were also exchanged during the conversation. Some of the questions asked were as follows:
1. Where and when did you meet your fiance?
2. Where is she currently living?
3. Where does she work? What is she working as?
4. What is her (my) name?
Overall, very positive experience with no negative comments whatsoever. Interviewer was very respectful and enjoyable to converse with without giving you a hard time. Our relationship is as genuine as it can get and I'm sure people can tell.
Please do feel free to reach out to me anytime if you have any questions regarding the K1 process up to the interview. I will GLADLY a... read complete review

It was a very pleasant experience. I was pretty nervous still, I think it's a given.
The officers were very friendly but also efficient. Went in at 12.30 pm and left the embassy around 2 pm.
The questions asked are:
Where and when I met my husband?
Where are we planning on staying once we're there?
And then the CO showed a white paper and said we've been approved, and he looked so happy.
I did the javascript:emoticon(' ') happy dance all the way to the Gambir station.
