Other than the long wait, everybody in the consulate my wife had interacted with were very polite.
It took about 4 hours for my wife to complete her interview from the scheduled interview time. She had to wait a long time before being called to interview which lasted about 5 minutes.
The officer (at counter 11) who interviewed my wife was a male in mid-30s. There are the questions he asked:
Who is your sponsor?
What does he do and where does he work?
Love or arranged marriage?
How did you meet for the 1st time?
How did you know each other?
How long were you apart from each other?
Why wait so long to get married?
There is no point in getting to the consulate earlier than the scheduled time. This is the order in which immigrant visa applicants are interviewed:
1. Family or multiple persons applying together
2. Individuals who need a translator
3. Individuals proficient in E... read complete review

This is what my fiancee experienced during her interview.
Her interview was at 7.30 am. The consulate security asked people with appointments at that time to queue up. After security screening, the consulate staff led the queue to a big room with several about 14 windows and several seats. They gave each person a token number. The elderly folks, people needing special assistance, and people with kids were given the first token numbers.
One of the consulate staff spoke to her and arranged the papers in a sequence of appointment letter, birth certificate, police certificate and medical reports.
An indian consulate officer asked her to come to a window and looked at her papers first. Since my fiancee had been in the US before, he asked her about her past visa stamps and her work briefly. He also handed her information about domestic violence and rights in the US.
The second consulate officer was an American officer who asked... read complete review

The Interview was fairly simple and easy. The CO was a small haired Indian looking lady who looked very serious and didn't reply to my good afternoon. The very first question she asked me was about the Domestic Violence Handout they gave me before the Interview and what does it mean and what information is in it.Then she asked me about Wedding Plans and I explained her and was about to open my File Folder which I kept on the counter and which had almost 700 pages of documents including Wedding Plans like Clubhouse Booking Receipt,Flower Receipt,Wedding Invitation Card,Catering Menus etc.It also had proof of relationship like Wats App chat records and Snapshots,Skype chat records and Screen Shots,Skype Snap Shots of my fiancee talking to my Parents separately on cam etc.I also included I 129f Petition copy and the pics that we sent along with I129f and the pics which we didn't send including pics with my Mom n Dad and with my sister, brother in law, nephew and my friends and relative. It als... read complete review
