Had my interview at 9am we got there at 8:30 and were let in. First you check in with a lady at the entrance with an iPad. She asked for my interview letter and my passport as well as my husbands passport (since he wanted to enter the consulate with me). I was then given a laminated sheet with a # on it and the order they wanted the documents arranged. We were then checked by the security guard. No bags purses wallets coins or anything really is allowed into the consulate. After walking through the security scanner we went up to the 19th floor.
We waited for about 1.5 hours to be called up to submit all documents. The lady doing the intake of the documents was very kind and professional kept smiling and explained everything. She took my fingerprints and started asking for my paperwork.
I submitted in this order:
Passport
2 passport pics
Medical
Original birth certificate
Original marriage certificate
Original police... read complete review

This is all secondhand as I did not attend with my husband, so there are definitely some gaps but I wanted to share what he said.
His appointment was at 7:30 today, March 22, so he arrived around 7 and was second in line. He said that closer to 7:30 the line grew dramatically so he was glad that he decided to get there early. He stayed at an AirBnB a quarter mile away and walked so I can't speak to parking. He knew that he wouldn't be allowed to bring his phone inside (also no backpacks or large bags) so he left those at the AirBnB. He had his keys on him but as he went through security he stored them in a locker and picked them up on his way out.
The security guard opened the doors at 7:30 and started allowing people in. He was given a laminated sheet that told him how to order his documents and sent to the basement. Then once a few others had been processed in, they all took the elevator up to the waiting room. Once inside he got his paperwork together... read complete review

We (Myself and my 3 K2s) stayed at Le Square Phillips Hotel and Suites (I highly recommend) which was maybe a 5 minute walk away. (The hotel was very nice, the staff was great, and the kids enjoyed the pool. The continental breakfast is pretty good too, quite a selection.)
We arrived at the consulate at 7am for our 7:30 appointment time, and were second in line. It wasn't long before the line grew. The wait wasn't bad because a few of us VJers started chatting. My K2s were bored senseless.
At exactly 7:30, a guard came out and placed the board that states what's prohibited from entering the building. He let people in one by one.
Immediately upon entering, there was a lady at a booth who checked you in. She took our appointment confirmation sheet and our passports and placed a sticker on the backs and gave me the laminated sheet with your number (our's was #2) and the list of order to arrange your documents.
Next, you get guided through a d... read complete review

Hello All!
I have my Appointment yesterday Morning, myself and 2 K2 Applicants (my children). The Process was overall really good and seamless and everyone was very helpful.
We got to our 8:00am Appointment at 7:30 and stood in line. The security let the the 7:30 people first, and then us. The guard was nice and noticed the kids were cold so he let them wait inside which was so lovely of him. Once inside I had a purse with me, that was essentially empty minus paperwork in a folder and my wallet and cellphone. (Kids each brought one small toy). I was able to bring in the purse and I turned off my cell and left it with the guard who gave me a ticket number to pick up.
Next we went into a basement with the group and with up to 19th floor.
Waited until our number was called, which maybe took about 45 mins (wasnt watching the clock that much). They lady who helped us was very helpful and we had all the documents needed.
I went... read complete review

My interview was March 6, 2019
8am
Quick note: seriously read on their website what not to bring, there are lockers at the Eatons center if needed. No bags or electronics allowed, although if you had a phone they held it for you on the main floor, i left mine at my airbnb. They will not allow you in with large bags or backpacks.
I got there just before 7:30am, few people already standing in line and within 5 minutes the security guard slowly started letting people in.
The lady inside asked for my passport and appointment letter. She put a sticker on the back of my passport and handed me a laminated paper with the number 10 on it and with instructions on how to organize my documents. Then i was moved to security (same as the airport) then was told to go downstairs and wait. Within a few minutes the security guard came down and got us in the elevator and up to the 19th floor.
From there you sit on the left side of the room, the ... read complete review
