CA Foreign Transcript evaluations Here is a link to the CA transcript evaluations for teachers wishing to teach in CA. I know this doesn't directly apply to you but a degree is a degree. If you wish to have the hours / classes evaluated, then google accredited foreign transcript evaluators and go from there. As long as she has a diploma and transcript, most employers will accept that, only in teaching or technical fields will they ask for the evaluations. (in my experience). Best of luck!!
Bob
She doesnt have her transcripts do you know how she can get this, does it add a lot more weight than just the diploma?

My fiancee has a B.S from St. Paul University Quezon City in Hotel and Restaurant management but i cant figure out if her degree is valid in the U.S or if her schools accreditation is valid here for transfer of credits i just dont know anything lol
-
Is it just me or did anyone else already get all the AOS paperwork ready before the Fiancee is here or even get married?
-
Well im not sure what it would be considered because i see other posts where people say you can only volunteer for non profit organizations and we do sell food at events (me and my Family) and it would be nice if she could help us out say grab a soda for the customer out of the ice chest or run to the car for more supplies etc but shell just be helping i will be the one getting paid!
-
If i the petitioner were to work a function selling food from a tent and my Fiancee wanted to help me serve say hotdogs prior to EAD is this allowed if i do not pay her? Shes gonna be sitting there watching me otherwise and doesnt want to stay at home alone!

The divorce decree is called a exemplified copy in Florida. Look it up on google. What I got was the complete copy but most importantly the first page has the judges signature and the court seal on it. Just make sure it was signed by a judge and has the seal. Refer to it as an exemplified copy and they should know what you are talking about.
Also, go to the regional forum on China and post and read in there. The Embassy that I deal with will be different from the standards you deal with in China.
Dale this is incorrect, the divorce papers can be signed by the clerk of court mine is stamped with a green seal and signed by the lady who stamped it and they are considered certified copies. Just FYI our visa was approved and also the g-325A should be signed with original signatures if im not mistaken.

Most the time Manila wont accept a cosponsor.

Hey Dale where in FL just curious?

My fiancee was approved in Jamiaca and they didnt take any evidence from her regarding the relationship because everything they ask her she answers perfectly, so i dont think it has so much to do with evidence and more to do with answering questions accurately and in some form of depth. Examples would be How did you meat my girl didnt just say at a restaurant she told a story of what we did over a 3 day period. Some say dont say to much but when it comes to certain questions i believe some details are needed and not to be cut and dry just my opinion.

Thank you for your reply, Joanna. Sorry I was not very clear. I am the USC and Tom is the UKC. We will be having a co-sponsor because I am in graduate school and am not working full-time. We are good friends with a couple who was successfully granted the K-1 and are now married. They advised us against Tom changing jobs. Do you think it will have any effect on our chances of the visa being granted?
The posts above are incorrect, you are the only one that matters as far as having a job or acquiring a sponsor as you are the USC, Tom on the other hand can sit on his #### all day playing X box until his interview and it would have no effect on your petition.

Ok i was a couple months off on the Philippine trip but still how can people move on so fast? If its meant to be things will work out for ya i guess!

I am sorry to hear your story and hope that it all works out for you. I can see why there might be some hesitation on the part of the embassy to approve the visa though. I read the article on your finace's accident. It was in Feb. 2010 and by Sept. 2010 he was engaged to you. Also as a taxpayer of this country, I have a problem with him getting disability. I am no doctor but, I can see his broken bones are healed, he has 2 arms and 2 legs, he can obviously pick up at least 50 pounds ( He has his son on his shoulders) and can lift his arms above his head. I am tired of paying taxes for people that collect taxpayers money when they can be employable. If he has a disability that is not apparent, I will apologize but from appearances it looks like someone taking advantage of the system.
So im not the only one to notice this, it actual happened in January and by April he was in the Philippines with a new woman talk about WOW also look at the timeline in her personal blog. Look i dont know what happened to the X wives but somethings not right and apparently someone else thinks so also!

Her family members have offered to show any kind of financial support that we need, meaning they are willing to put their names on the line. Would that be enough?
Yes her family can sponsor you if they meet the 125% requirement.
Also for everyone else to answer couldnt she work in Australia and do Direct Consular Filing using her Australian income? I dont know im just asking.

Women!!!!
Yeah i spent half an hour having her look for it lol

OMG i have to say talking to my Fiancee in skype having her look for the A# is like watching paint dry lol j/k she found the # on the NOA2 but it doesnt say Alien number it just sais Beneficiary and the !# is next to it.
Sorry guys for wasting your time but thanks for the answers.
-
Hi Mike, it should be on your NOA2 (I-129F approval)...
Its not on the NOA2 the space where it sais Alien number is blank!
Yes, look on the visa it is on there, i believe if it is on the left hand side should be A 123 456 789 9 digits long, my cbp agent circled it for me and wrote it on my i-94 i don't know if this is standard
The only # on here is one that starts with a C and 10 digits grrrr.
-
Its not on the Visa nor is it on the NOA2, do K-1 Visa holders get an Alien #???

If he didn't enter the US legally, then your situation isn't that simple as it as been implied. He will have to leave the US to be abe to be eligible for a visa. If he leaves he will trigger a ten year ban. You will have to apply for a harship wavier, as to why the US must allow your husband to return to the US. A hardship wavier is only avavilable for a husband, not a K1 So now you have to make some decisions, do you marry and hope and pray that the US will allow your husband back if he leaves, or just continue life as is.
The web site http://immigrate2us.net is where you will be best assisted with your problem. The folks over-there are in the same situation as you and your friend.
I dont agree with this, isnt there a law or something regarding people being brought here when they are so young that they cant be liable for unknowingly being illegal?

Why are people obsessed with checking the case #s just sit back and relax, i checked our case # once a week and twice at most and i never called USCIS about it. No point just relax and it will get done, i would only call after the 5th month!
