People always ask times, but they go up and down like a roller coaster. The time it has taken for somebody getting their interview in London today will be different from somebody just starting today.

Do you see how people today getting their NOA2 (approval of the I-129F petition) waited 3 times longer than those who got approvals in July? It could be better or worse for you.
So once the petition is approved, the visa has to be applied for through London. Here's how processing times have gone there.

Just guessing, I don't think a July wedding is a reasonable plan, but the roller coaster timelines could start heading down...you never know for sure.

I said it was extremely insensitive and selfish of the OP to [attempt to] use a tragic incident to gain approval on a K-1 expedite for his fiance. To use such is an absolute mockery of the US Govt & to those personnel who work in war zones and risk their lives for us, HERE AT HOME. What others have said and I agree with, is that the Expedite is for the USC and there must be a hardship / emergency to be eligible.

The only point I read, was the fact that you have been grossly obsessed with the TPS program and the Haitians! OK WE GET IT! You are against their expedited Visas! That was yesterday's news! Now what? This topic has been very offensive to many as I stated earlier. Isn't it strange that the only common denominator is you and your bride weaved throughout the fabic sending a message, "It's all about ME"?

Good Heavens. I thought you were working on your other topic, RE: your letter. Now I'm seeing this post which very much annoys me.
You know what? My fiance is on at the USAF Base in Iraq. Just this morning he called to tell me there has been bombings in Baghdad and its not safe to travel. If its not safe, then military will NOT let the contractors off base to go home! And guess what?? I get to deal with it and so does he. That's the way it is. In fact, if we did get our NOA2 now, and he was scheduled for interview there is a very good chance he wouldn't make it because of situations such as this!!!
And while this is tragic in Russia,and SEVERAL OTHER COUNTRIES whom have been terrorized, there is not one day I don't worry he'll call me during our very limited 3 min phone connection before we lose signal just to say they're going to bunker and he'll call when its safe! That happened on Christmas Morning Al, and you have no idea what I went through for 3 days of silence until he called. And still, I don't get on the forum to whine and complain about it, or grab at straws for an expedited case file.
What you say here is a mockery of the US Govt. for attempting to use this tragic event of others and seeminly selfish of you to even think this is a way to get YOUR BRIDE here any earlier then the rest who wait patiently! Especially, for those who have remained calm, waiting for the day they see their [future] Husband or Wife come home from a war zone and knowing their life is on the line!

Yes, persecute. That is exactly what you've done but that is neither here nor there. It seems you have completely missed the points that Mari was making on her posts and have thus also misunderstood the outlandish comments posted by AL. Of course people can be angry, scared etc. etc however, you stated you read through all the posts. I suggest you read through them again as it appears you have grossly failed to see why the comments made by AL have ruffled so many feathers around here.
The fact remains that he was taking a situation, yes a horrible, tragic situation, and was trying to utilize and manipulate the situation for his own personal gain. Disgusting!!!!! That is the problem here. He did not appear take into consideration the feelings of the individuals that would read his posts nor did he appear to take into consideration the magnitude of the situation occurring in Haiti vs. the situation that took place in Russia. They are completely different.

Seriously!!!!!! This is just an absolutely absurd post, offensive and you have made it abundantly clear about your primary objective here. Your objective, in my opinion is to selfishly try and utilize a very tragic event for your own personal gain. You state: "I have a job to do and I am going to do it". Great, then go do it and please put an end to the posts that you are making. Your posts are completely minimizing some of the "REAL" situations that people here on this VJ journey are having to experience daily, like those members whose finaces are currently located in war zones where bombings are occurring daily etc. Although the event which occurred in Russia was horrible, I must point out to you that events like these are happening around the world all the time, including here in the USA, so to make these comments and act as though your case is "special" is just plain wrong.
I understand you have concerns about your fiance, many of us here do, however, the manner in which you state your comments and how you are presenting your case is what is working against you here. Sure, any of us have the right to vent, to be angry, however you have taken it to a much different level, a level outside of the realm of concern for your fiance and into a realm of pure selfishness and inconsideration for others utilizing this site. Poor judgement in my opinion.
You state above that this may be your last post on this topic. For the sake of all of us here, for those of us trying to remain positive, trying to remain hopeful, and for those of us with fiances or spouses in "war zones," it would be appreciated if no additional comments were made. I guess you could believe that if you want to, since every religion is completely made up according to you and others. Just make your own and believe whatever you want. But I believe that Jesus said "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." and had the authority to do so. I can't judge every person myself who wasn't following him their whole life and then died. We can't know every single spiritual thing that happens to a person when they are in the process of dying, whether drawn out or dead in seconds.

I don't think you remember things that people like me have already said or you might not ask these kinds of questions. Maybe you do it on purpose. In one of your other threads, about heaven, I mentioned what I believe to be in heaven and peace of mind was one of them. If people could not become mentally sound in heaven, what would be the point of heaven anyway. We all have some issues even if they are very small compared to those diagnosed as insane. Heaven provides relief to everyone who enters.
Well, since you aren't God you don't have his wisdom of how to handle that kind of situation. I personally don't see how He would punish someone for acts they never did.
