Phil, I did read your comments carefully. And I did make my comment based on what I read. Again, as I mentioned, I may be wrong. But please, read what I said: this is a new environment for her and she is insecure. I really do not think there is anything wrong with her. The fact that she wants to be with you and that she gets upset when you leave to be with your friends points towards her insecurity rather than her taking you for a ride.. You have to put yourself in her shoes: she is in a brand-new country, trying to adjust. Everything is alien to her here. You have your job, your friends.. She has NOTHING HERE !! Literally! Nothing that she claims to be hers.. NOw in a second you can turn around and send her back.. How secure can she feel? Basically, you are saying to her: "put up or leave".. She made a huge commitment (independently of her past financial situation) of coming here, changing her life drastically! You have to be patient and sensitive to it. The fact that she wants to get married ASAP only points towards this insecurity. She is not asking for money or expensive gifts. All she is asking for is a piece of security.. Marriage is one part of it. I am in no way a marriage specialist or pretend to know your situation. However, from what you wrote I say that she is insecure and you do only increase this sense rather than trying to make her more comfortable. If you feel that my advice is incorrect or assessment is incorrect you may ignore it. However, one thing if you are looking for advice where everyone is saying : "Oh! You are right, Phyl, and she is a b$$$tch" and another thing is if you are looking for objective assessment.

    Phil,
if you two do not get along and you are not happy with each other... Is it important who's fault it is and who might have what sickness and what the reasons are? I did not get impression that you were madly in love with each other ever...
Don't get married. Buy her tickets to get home and make sure you restore everything for her back to pre-Phil days as much as you can. That would be a kind and reasonable thing to do.
Why would you want to get married and continue to hurt each other??? If you don't fit together, then you don't fit together.

You sound entirely too focused on sex. Your relationship isn't working on ANY level and yet all you can complain about is the physical part. Can't say I blame her for sleeping in another room, to be honest.

It should not be a problem for I129F petition approval. Not at all. However, I highly recommend visiting him at least one more time between now and interview time. It may become a problem at the interview stage. However, you can easily fix it now by visiting him. This is a good time to do it.

It will not directly affect, meaning it will not be the reason for denial. However, these charges will be red flags - basically, they will suspect her of visa fraud (money for visa) and will likely scrutinize your application more looking for signs of the fraud. This will not be direct.

I agree with you. However, there is a huge difference in F33/M20 (both child-bearing age) and F51/M29.. This is simply biological matter, if you will. We are all animals with natural instincts, though sophisticated, and child-bearing age has an effect on human inter-gender behavior. I wish the best of luck to the PO, however, we all have to recognize the difference, keep it in mind, and you cannot claim that this is the same situation.

Basically, you met only once (the fact that you saw each other every 2-3 weeks during his single visit here is not considered multiple visits. This is reality. As far as they are concerned there was only one visit documented (with primary evidence). This happened 1.5 years ago and this is unusual for K1. Most of applicant see each other more often. While there is requirement for I129F approval "last 2 years", in reality in the embassy they want to see much tighter relationship.. I am pretty sure this is where the problem is. You need to search for more evidence of ongoing relationship. This is right, this is not sufficient even for no-fraud countries. You need to think what you can provide in terms of evidence. You would know better. My recommendation would be to search for it and provide it. I think this is a problem and you will not be able to overcome it unless you provide a very substantial evidence that you were interacting every day. And I mean proof. They cannot confirm if the phone card that you were using was in fact used to call him. You either have to find something like that or need to visit him again. This is my take.

San Diego, I agree with you completely. First of all their age difference is much smaller with the example from China being 20/33. Secondly, they are younger (both of them) and still of child bearing ages. That does matter especially in cultures where it is assumed (MENA) that all men want children of their own. Not saying it is impossible, just saying highly unlikely to happen in a day to day type of scenario in Morocco or Egypt or any other MENA country.

Fiancee visa is not the right. This is a privilege. Entering the process you should know what it involves and that it may take some time. If you do not want to wait move to your fiancee's country. There are a lot of people waiting and some may be processed few weeks faster than others. If you do not want to wait, again, I recommend moving to your fiancee's country, especially considering that you do not like US Government. Maybe, you will enjoy Russian government more. Give it a try.

At the end of the day, this kind of whinging on VJ is nothing new; people will always get emo about how long their wait is, how they are more hard done to vs others, etc.
If this is the worst thing a couple has to go through in their lives together, then they are lucky.
So many people get caught up in the romanticism of it all, that they are ill prepared for what they are getting into: whether it's not truly knowing the person they are bringing over, not preparing fully for their arrival/adjustment/next step with visa (read: fees), etc.
Of course, me saying this isn't going to change anything.

Is that why you introduced yourself as a progressive in your very first post in a thread you started in VJ's Politics forum?
    You're a terrible liar.
How old were you 20 years ago?
There is, but I guess you failed at life and are not part of it.
