    Hi, I was going crazy calling NVC everyday and I had given up when I had saw this on a post from another person and decided to give it a try. I went to www.dhl.com clicked Express then Tracking, then Track by Shipper's Reference, on this page you add your search info..You change the day and month to what you think your's might have left NVC
    EXAMPLE:
    * Shipper´s Reference : EXP 24 MAR 2011A
    * Date range for shipment - From: 23 - 03 - 2011
    * Date range for shipment - To: 26 - 03 - 2011
    Account Number - Leave this blank
    Shipment Destination: Egypt / You Choose your Country
    The day I was trying this I saw a package had left for Egypt. I thought could that be our's? I called the NVC and I was told our package had gone out. The one I had saw was our's I was so happy. I just checked our's it's at the Sorting Center in Egypt now, it's moving fast
    Someone with the example date I made up above for the country of Egypt has a package going to Egypt now as you will see if you try this.
    The best of luck to everyone

    Sorry to hear your situation. Please be prepared for not so positive things coming your way. Many Egyptian men change their mind in wanting to be with an American. This is nothing new for one of them to just disappear even within the US after they arrive here. I've seen this happen too often. So many keep secrets like having a fiance or even the fact they're married there. Some of them are liars and players. BEWARE! Yes, It's so horrible that they can betray someone like that. I wish you the best in finding an answer to where he might be. I hope for your hearts sake you receive good news soon. Good Luck to you

    For me, I wasn't looking to pay around $30 or more for Ink for my printer and $5 to $10 for photo paper. Getting them for 41 cents was fantastic since I had just written a check for $1070 for AOS, at that point I was lucky to have 41 cent

    This man seems to have worked really hard to have owned a resturant and became a millionaire in S.C . I'm sure in S.C. he has many ppl wanting to work for him. Why don't you just stay in his expensive home kick back and take it easy and see what he will do? If he cared enough to pay the money to get you here and take his time to be with you then he must feel something for you,right? Seems like you're in a hurry to skip out on his life to me. Thinking of marry another, What's with that? You think it's been easy for him to get where he is? You knew he worked long hours before you came here. I guess he has you join him at his resturant so you won't be home alone,work ? i don't think so. You might want to think of what you might have said or done that could have made him change his mind. Maybe he is feeling alittle unloved and used. Try asking him how he feels about whats going on in your relationship. If he is willing to marry you then so be it, If not then you should return to your country so it doesn't cause you problems down the road. The advice of the good folks in S.C. about staying and finding other options should go in one ear and out the other, listen to folks here on VJ they have steered you in the right direction. Good Luck

    The OP question was "Had American ignorance affected yours or your spouse's adjustment to life in the U.S.?" and also said, I'm just curious if anyone else has had issues adjusting to American life because of comments directed at that they were not intended to be rude but came across as insulting.They're asking others about their experience's after they arrived in the US.
    I agree it's not only the US but hurtful words hurt and don't we hope someday ppl will learn to keep their comments to themselves, Yes I'm a dreamer. Honestly I could make a list of insults my husband has taken. He just brushes them off like he don't hear them. I'm not so nice and I get angry, the words ring in my ears. As an American I KNOW they're ignorant ppl because it's what I have had to view my whole life. The fact is anyone from any country that has something nasty to say are going to say it. It's the person that way not where they come from.
    Ohhh honey the things that ran through my mind, lol ... I love the way you think

    ohh yes! I will tell you what happened to us a few weeks ago. My husband and I went to a Barbershop to get his hair cut. There were 2 barbers with 2 patrons. My husband and I were waiting for one to finish so he could have his turn in the chair, BUT in the mean time one of the men getting his hair cut was talking about him being a Minister at a church. The Minister looked at my husband ( who is from Egypt and is Muslim ) and ask "Do you go to church son"? My husband answered no I am Muslim I go to a local Mosque. The Minister replied "Why? you're going to hell anyway" You can never go to heaven no matter how many times you pray and it doesn't matter that you don't drink or use drugs you will go to hell and I will go to heaven! He then said you don't even pray to the right God! You can imagine that I almost fell off my chair, I could not believe someone who preached the word of God would JUDGE another person. I spoke up and said He prays to the same God as you! He said my dear you're very wrong! I was so mad inside of myself, But I remained calm ( yes it was so hard) I saw that the minister was ignorant and at that moment it was the Minister I felt sorry for. I was raised by great parents who accepted others as they believed, not to degrade anyone for their religion.I knew my husband was hurt by his words but at the same time I knew in my heart my husband was the better man. The minister ask Hany to come to his church and he would make him see the truth. Hany Thanked him and said I feel the way I was brought up is the right way,the minister laughed. As the Minister was paying to leave he said, Now you come to church on Sunday Wow! I can't wait to tell the congregation that an Arab is coming to my church. I looked at him like he had flippedout. What I do know is God heard that comment and end the end I don't think it will find him a way to the Golden Gates of Heaven. It's very difficult in America for anyone from another country as ppl here do not know about their culture and what they do know isn't exact facts. So this continues..........

    tru_loves_journey got a reaction from Marc_us82 in Visa Denied - Cairo (Age Difference)
    "AGE DIFFERENCE" at Cairo Embassy must not be too much of a problem since I'm 18 years older than my fiance and we were approved. I think that there's other issues when someone is denied. I have read alot on VJ thats talks about age difference and it made me so upset thinking we would be denied for that. Most times in alot of the post it always ends up being something else other than age. The best thing ppl can do is make sure they have evidence of their relationship, call logs, letters, receipts, photo's , emails, letters from family members saying they agree to your relationship. Anything that will show you have a real relationship. And If your income isn't enough make sure you have a co sponsor. And present yourself well at the interview, this is very important also. When you love someone you love them no matter how old they are, being it's of legal age of course..The best to the OP
