  1. Ahh, I misread. Yeah that definitely seems reasonable if they are going to meet their 6mo target at the end of FY2023.
  2. I think mid-Sept would be very ambitious but they definitely still have their work cutout for them if they are going to reach the USCIS goal of all cases processed within 6 months by the end of FY2023
  3. The green card expiration date has nothing to do with filing for citizenship. If he meets ALL of the requirements to file at three years (including having been a permanent resident for at least three years minus 90 days), then he can file for citizenship 90 days before the three year mark.
  4. It resets when your interview notice gets sent. Yesterday morning, before we got out interview notice, ours said 3 months. After we received the notice, it says 12 months.
  5. I think it is very possible, if not likely. This timing has us receiving the interview notice about 9.5 months after filing and the interview will be almost exactly 11 months from filing. It is very clear that the Seattle site is actually making some progress on their backlog. Consider that in January of this year it was taking around 15.5 months to receive an interview notice and 16.5 months to have the interview. If they keep accelerating like this, I think they may actually be able to hit that 6 month target processing time.
  6. Got the notification about 15 min ago! Checked my.uscis.com earlier this morning and no updates but received an email from the old egov.uscis account around 15 min ago that the interview has been scheduled. Checked back on my.uscis and sure enough, the interview has been scheduled for August 10th!
  7. 1. In general, your relationship status should be considered bonafide by this point since you have already been through i130/i485 and i751 process. Most reports state the main focus is on the civics/english portion with some precursory questions about where you live/work/etc. That being said, the interviewer can ask you about pretty much anything if they are curious, let alone if they feel something is amiss or being withheld. I'm not sure what you mean by you and your wife had to relocate for work. Did you move from somewhere else to the Seattle area or did you move from Seattle to another area and not notify USCIS? 2. Looking at the historic data, it does appear that Seattle does same day oaths on Fridays as well. Considering they state a "marriage-based N400", they are applying based upon the 3 year rule. Otherwise, it wouldn't be a "marriage-based N400". Citizenship of the applicant isn't really relevant for N400 processing because all of the checks which are done at the earlier levels. The relationship has already been established as bonafide during the i485 and i751 process, which is where citizenship of the applicant can come into play. At this point, it is mostly about do they meet the requirements for the 3 year rule plus the civics/English test. In case you haven't seen it, there is a tracking spreadsheet for N-400 at the Seattle FO. It looks like yesterday, someone from August 2021 received an interview notice for late July. 8. Sucks less than the 1.5+ year wait time that many have to go through for the Seattle FO. Recent applicants are often closer to 12-13mo.
  9. If you left US waters (which you likely did), then you are outside the USA by definition. I would report it on your N400. Better to include it and not need it than have the officer look for it and not find it.
  10. Keeping an eye on the spreadsheet, looks like a second person from July 2021 received their interview notice for July 2022. It definitely seems like things are starting to pick up at the Seattle office.
  11. Check your documents tab. This is often a sign they have uploaded something.
  12. Just noticed from the spreadsheet that somebody from June 2021 just received their interview notice yesterday. Seems like Seattle is actually starting to catch up a bit.
  13. Wow, this is great news! It actually looks like a couple people from late April have gotten their interview notices. It does indeed look like things are starting to pick up. Hopefully, this bodes well for the rest of us.
  14. Ours disappeared as of this morning as well. We just checked yesterday and it was there then. No idea why it's not there now.
