    If the visa is valid (which it is in your case) and the China is not closed to international visitors, then the visa you have can be used. Non-issue.

    You're not being dumb, the very nature of this process lends itself to paranoia, overthinking, and second guessing. Full disclosure, I went through all three at various times when I was in your shoes. Now with that being said, you've already been given good answers in this thread and I have nothing to add.
