    Hello Friends
I'm posting here a site that may be of great help for those who are struggling with the K1 Visa or any situation involving immigration. Good Luck to all.

I cannot answer your questions, but do have one of my own. Why the heck did you wait 3 months before "remembering" you had a wife waiting to adjust status? Most people would have been on this the next day! Was there a specific issue that took this amount of time to complete? I hope they are lenient on the late part.

I'm curious what others think about the potential creation of a new "Military" forum, in which military personnel and their spouses or fiance(e)s could discuss issues specific to their situations and also have a social outlet of their own. Ex-military personnel might also drop in.
Traffic might be lighter than in most other fora, but perhaps heavier than that of the Diversity Lottery forum, for example.
Has the idea of a Military forum been considered before?
I have absolutely no vested interest; I merely wonder whether the idea is appealing. Comments, please, si man.

So, the consensus seems to be that stealing software is no big problem.

Does anyone out there know how to obtain the DS-2053 form from USCIS once the beneficiary has already entered the US? Getting a copy from the doctor's office in Juarez is not working. We would really like to have a copy to know how to proceed with things and whether to try and find a decent civil surgeon and go down that whole road.

Your comment is uncalled for and insensitive. He *did* congratulate this lucky couple and then express his justified frustration honestly. And for that you publicly question his character? This type of community will best serve the members if we try to be compassionate and comfort those who are feeling frustrated, not by knocking them down at a time when we all are already vulnerable.

Part of the problem with society today is too many men have been broken and act like women....
Like it or not, men and women ARE different and not just on a physical level.

Sorry, I enjoy driving, and I love my car. Why would I torture myself with an electric vehicle?
Buy an electric vehicle. Not only will you get there in triple the time, you'll be laughed at the whole way there.

Geode got a reaction from VeraVimes in Slow Down at CSC
We have been waiting only a month. For me the problem is that the stated processing time of five months appears to be meaningless. A lucky few are processed quickly. An unlucky many are way beyond five months. Someone else said it here that in the electronic age, the process should take at most a month. In another thread a former USCIS employee says the process takes about 15 minutes once someone picks up the file. There is clear evidence that K1 visas are processed much sooner at VSC. If it is true, and it appears that it is, the CSC is concentrating on I-130 petitions at the expense of others, then that is wrong. Any business that accepted a fee for a service and then decided to not provide the service because it wanted to provide other customers a different service could be not survive long in the market place.
Basically, if a petition arrives today and gets a number, lets say 7001, then the 7001st petition processed should be that one. I know there are petitions that require a RFE and some that so flawed that they cannot be repaired and processed. And there are some few that need immediate processing. Allowances, fair allowances, can be made for those situations. Other than that, it should be first come first served. And, by simply publishing the expected processing time of a typical petition and the number of that petition in line, a lot of the heartache could be eliminated. I think the five month number is a bogus number used to try to keep the USCIS from having to come up with answers when it not providing the service it has been paid to provide.
